I am one of Brad Paisley's biggest fans. I love his music & comedy. I've been to 5 concerts the past 6 years soon to be 6 in 7 years in September. This CD is his most complete in a while. No skips, straight through but faves are Gold All Over The Ground, Dying to See Her, Today
It’s actually a song written by Cash in 1967, it was just never recorded/ never had a melody put to it. He did do a darn great job though, hats off to paisley

Brittany B You sure love starting everyone of your comments with "fucking bitch". You got to be kidding me if you think people like Luke Bryan and Cole Swindell are country. They are pop country. Their lyrics and style carry some country aspects but are upbeat and use mixes like pop songs. Country is not about girls shaking their ass and drinking beer with them. Country is a way of life that has been skewed over time by people like Luke and Cole. It's supposed to be about stories or struggles in life, not songs about women shaking their ass.

Reminiscent of older Paisley stuff, and that is certainly not a complaint! :) So cool that this song is based off an old poem written by Cash! Probably my favorite new track off this album so far! Next Friday can't come fast enough!
Dangit, man! Paisley has done it again, making music that remind you what real country music is. From the giddyup I was caught on this one. He's going to be the next George Strait. This song is just incredible. Oh, and Love and War? Yeah, he said it exactly like it needed to be said: "All is fair in love and war, but that ain't true, it's wrong. They send you off to die for us, forget about you when you don't."

Not many artists write lyrics worth listening to. BP seldom disappoints and this sounds like Who needs pictures all over again! 👍 But personally I prefer the humouristic songs most. Fast chicken pickin' and lyrics that make me chuckle.

Man your last album was not my favorite for a lot of reasons. One being that it was too "pop country." With this new album you seem to be really turning it around and getting back to your roots. I absolutely love it. It's what separates your music from the crap they play on country radio these days. Stay you, man.
