Brad the Bullsnake Laid SO Many Eggs!! 

I remember my first time watching a Snake Discovery video. It was one of Brad’s egg laying video when they were still in there basement! I am SO proud of Snake Discovery and how far they’ve come! They work so hard to give us good content and I am really grateful!

I imagine Janet looking down and giving his blessing. “Give them a giant clutch this year! I believe in you, my feisty lady!” ❤️

The older (human) women are, the higher their chances of having fraternal twins. It's almost like the body is saying, your reproductive life is almost up so let's make the most of it and release two eggs! Might be the same case with Brad :)

Brad is just the best! What a trooper getting all those eggs out. Hopefully at least most of them end up viable. I know she's getting up there in years, and I think we'll all be very sad to see her go when her time comes, but she's been such a wonderful snake and awesome mama during her time here. ❤️

Brad is such a strong lady for getting through her surgery and still pumping out 30 eggs all on her own! I wish Janet was still here with her but it’s nice to see even your older snakes thriving!

If you place a strip of polyester microfiber over the top of the eggs and buried both ends in perlite, the cloth will wick up moisture and create a humidity bridge over the eggs. The benefit would be that polyester doesn’t break down so it’s better for long term moisture control. Thought this might be a helpful tip for inflating sunken eggs. I grow orchids in inorganic media like leca or perlite, I use microfiber strips to wick water from a reservoir into my pots. The wicks constantly stay moist, and nearly a year later, they are still functional.

I’m glad to see Brad is doing well, she looks really good considering her surgery last year and her breeding this year. The amount of eggs she laid is insane.

Rest in peace Brad💞 You were a very loved snake and I'm sorry this was the last clutch we get to see with you. But so glad you left so many babies to remember you by! You guys took great care of her!

RIP Brad, you went out as a legend with your final clutch. May you look down on your babies and watch over them forever

I remember when I first started watching how reluctant Ed was to go on camera. Now we get to see and hear him all the time! It's really nice knowing that his confidence has grown over the course of the show. C:

Ironically I have a bullsnake named Pretzel. She's an oddball, just the sweetest thing for a bullsnake. Doesn't posture, hiss or buzz.

Fun mineral fact: Calcite and aragonite in nature do crystalise into star-like forms, especially in cave environments. So the "star" on the egg is probably just a bit of extra special calcium :3

Is anyone else always so impressed with Emily when she can almost always remember specific details about the snakes? Like she remembers morphs, pairings, and other details about almost all the snakes and reptiles. I’m always so impressed!

I love how excited you guys get. Like your reactions and way you talk to each other is so legit, can see how much you all love what you do, always excited for more. Constantly learning and it's fun, not many people can do that! Also, officially the cutest couple I've known of.

I had been so uncool in my (unreasonable) fear of snakes - my daughter (who is now 12) introduced me to Snake Discovery, (around 2 years ago) im happily addicted to your videos!! I think it would be very cool if you made a complete video of each cluster. like from the pairing, to the laying, hatching and then showing the babies like 3, 4 months later. I'm not saying not to do this kind of video, only to make a "big recap" video of each family :)

If you guys ever have a clutch of 18, you could do all the different pokemon types! You could finally determine which type is the best!

BRAD EGGS!!!! YAY!! her babies are always so big! It is in fact her record, one year she has 22, the next 25, the yesr before her surgery i think she had 28 which to date was her largest clutch, til now 😮 31 eggs is crazy and amazing!

My favorite snake is probably Brad. She always looks angry, and she looks like 3 different snakes put into one.

So last Tuesday I bought one of the red babies from this clutch. Completely forgot they were the food babies clutch until right now rewatching this video. I named him lasagna because you guys sent him home with me in a take out container. He just ate btw, it’s been 4 days since I brought him home and he ate TWO pinkies. Very sassy but settling in nicely.
