Acondorphobia is the real deal. My Mom has it and it’s honestly kind of funny. She see’s a little person and will start flipping out and run out of the store.

I'm 6'2" 260lbs and I had an irrational fear of little people. In high-school we had a little person (girl) for 2 years I would jump over bushes and run screaming away from her. Finally I talked to her, and slowly over the next 2 years I got over my absolute fear of little people. I still get a little freaked out but can usually control my fear. Usually.

I knew a woman who had "acondraphobia". I didn't believe her at first. She told me she starts to hyperventilate when she sees a little person. She couldn't explain why. I was gob-smacked.
I dunno about Stamos, but there are TONS of Phobias for just about everything. Name something, no matter how innocent or random it might seem, and there's probably a name for it. Clocks, Clowns, wide open spaces, the wind, etc.. everything, even if it's completely illogical. It doesn't have to be caused by some traumatic event or learned, it's just an irrational fear that kicks in, even if you know it's 100% harmless, and there's no reason to be afraid, your brain doesn't care and triggers fear and/or panic. It's not like being prejudice, it just happens. Racism isn't a phobia, it's learned from childhood/upbrining and/or caused by something. Phobias can just be random as shit. Although people can develope phobias from certain events. Like if you get stuck in an enclosed space you might develope Claustrophobia after that. But there are people with phobias for everything most people couldn't even comprehend.. like being scared of a certain number, you're reflection in a mirror, a color. key word is "irrational" meaning it doesn't make sense, it just happens. A lot of them can be fixed with therapy, or by surrounding yourself with whatever phobia you have. Like being covered with some harmless spiders if you have Arachnophobia, then your brain just sort of gets over it. Obviously you shouldn't do it without medical/psychiatric help to avoid having a full on panic or heart attack or just making things work, and it's obv not gonna help with every phobia, but it works. The Brian is a helluva thing with a lot of weird quirks. A LOT of people have phobias, they just haven't actually encountered it yet. There's a common phobia people can develope just by seeing a picture of it. Not gonna say what it is cuz it'll mess with people's heads for awhile, or even gross them out everytime they see something that reminds them of it. And some phobias effect people differently. Might just get slightly uncomfortable or grossed out but still put up with it without any other issues , or have a full on panic attack where the mind immediately goes into fight or flight mode and logic and reason go out the window. Not an expert, but I'm sure there's some kind of classification for the types and severity. Like most people are gonna be afraid of heights, snakes, or spiders etc cuz that's kinda ingrained through evolution, but then there's the random stuff, and an irrational fear thats way out of proportion.. like screaming and going into a panic attack because you see a butterfly.
Trust me I can really appreciate the height jokes one of my closest friends she is 6 foot 2 and I'm 5 foot 2 and let's just say the conversations that we have had get very interesting . She is Latina, I'm black and I don't speak any Spanish but I'm willing to learn ., she on the other hand speaks Spanish, English with almost no accent, French. And we have had that discussion about what our kids will probably look like if the relationship continues at its current rate. You are hilarious because you remind me it's not what somebody looks like or where they came from it's what's in the heart at the end of the day. Keep making us laugh especially now quarantine is brutal without laughter. And a definite thumbs up to you and your family, can't wait till your next special.

This literally the only comic I would pay to see live right now. Lots of guys make me laugh but this guy just kills me. Like seeing Gabriel Iglesias while he was still funny.
That was cool, I like that Brazil story, and how he had actually read about being prepared for that situation and learning about the preparedness actually helped him out!
