Was at Camp Liberty in 2005. It was not REMF-land; there were rocket attacks and some casualties while I was there. Mad respect for Brad, his humor, and his intestinal fortitude.

He really cared about you guys, even moreso the homeless and disabled vets. He did a huge amount of private charity work, every one of his films he took a cut of the pay he was offered and asked the films funders to make an equal donation to various charities. He got homeless people, including Veterans, hire and paid as extras on his films, all as part of the terms of his contracts. This has only come out since he died. He was an incredibly kind and generous guy, especially since he came so close to losing everything multiple times through his drug and alcohol addiction, his chronic depression and suicidal ideation. I just wish he could have had a longer healthier life into old age, but it wasn't to be.

@Phoenixspade Hey, at least you were able to have a camera. I was there in Spring/Summer 2003. We weren't allowed to have cameras or phones. We didn't have comedians coming to put on shows for us either now that I think of it. Brad Williams is a riot. Thanks for recording and uploading this.

Let's take this seriously for just one minute.. I would love to see him and we man do stand-up comedy together. There is so much potential in that. I mean just think of the potential for him and we man to do stand-up comedy together. If you've ever seen any of the jackass movie especially all of them these two guys would be awesome. I guarantee you everybody in the audience would piss their pants laughing because these guys are so funny and they don't even have to be dwarfs there just funny generally speaking

@@giannimura8870 It's low-brow, crass blue humor which insults and humiliates people who are not in the audience, and his delivery is random and all over the place. His routine today is much more refined and skillful in its content and presentation.
@@giannimura8870 I would agree, if it was done tastefully. This was not. This was blatantly crass. But it's not like this is new. This is very typical of many comedians when they first start out. If you want to see it done in a tasteful manner, go watch his special Fun Size from 2016, or Daddy Issues from 2018.
Love watching this guy perform but the one joke that I just stopped the video for 5 minutes to keep from quitting all together was the fat girl portion. Just struck a nerve with me. I know he’s making light of the encounter but it just didn’t sit right with me
