julianna margulies spoke about the fact that laura actually is the one character on the show that doesn't have ulterior motives so fingers crossed ahgdshad my guess is they're using laura as a plot device and they'll have cory out bradley

I thought that too…but, Laura sharing her heart to Bradley about the pain of being “outed” by Alex, made me re-think 🤔 my thoughts about her ever out-ting Bradley. She has had years of therapy, as she stated, and I’m sure has learned many things about the damage that causes to a person and the life long struggle it takes to heal from it. Laura, I’m sure has many flaws, but I don’t think that’s one of them. I actually think Laura has had MANY lovers and a string of failed relationships to learn what not to do; she seems very well balanced. She’s done “the work” on herself thru therapy tools, and it shows.

I like the acting, but always find it funny that straight women are playing these roles. It's like you couldn't find an actual lesbian to play these parts give them a sounding board to mirror real life that goes on between lesbian couples. It would give a role model to young lesbian women trying to come out the closet.

so straight actors can't play gay and vice versa? You don't expect a real murderer play a murderer, do you? They're actors, afterall. They play characters that are different from them

@@blackcanary5322 it would give more lesbian roles to actual gay women who have life experience of actually being gay a more believable part. It would also boost them into getting more roles for gay women instead of thrown into roles like cw had the token gay couple thrown in. It should be more natural. You can tell when a straight person is playing a gay role because they are just winging it. Like stereotyping one lesbian has to die or breakup in these films instead of having a healthy relationship.

@@clarissafielder530 I don't agree. Actors (at least good ones) can play any role you throw at them. It's called acting. The same way a gay person can play a straight character remarkably

@@clarissafielder530 plus, saying particular actors are straight is making assumptions. Who knows, maybe they've had gay experiences at some point. Nevertheless, it's their skills and craftsmanship that matter when playing a character, not their real life experiences
