Amen and thank you so much for keeping it so simple and basic to understand fundamentals to swing a club !powerful stuff! So well explained between these two masters.
The fewer moving parts the less chance there is of something going wrong or mis timed and Brads rotating of the arms to square the club face is not the most consistent method of squaring the club at impact surely setting the club and rotating the body where you are using the bigger muscles to reach impact square is a more reliable consistent swing eg Hogan, and Hoveland of the modern era are prime examples ? I cant believe Steve Ellington subscribes to this method.
So the meaning of strong grip isn’t just holding the club stronger. Strong grip is when if you hold the club, hands are rotated more to the right, and weak is when hands are rotated to the left. With a strong grip, the hands will naturally want to close the club face at impact. So to counter that, you’ll need more body release by leaning into the shot with the body and using the “blocking” action described. By doing that the club face will be more square - open at impact instead of closed
@@JT-gh1mx I know what a strong grip means. For me, it would be the opposite. If I had an open face, I would need to rotate more and have more open body at impact, contacting the ball as late as possible to get the face to square
