I can believe how big Bradley is. I remember watching the show when Zach and Whitney found out she was having a baby, and then when he was born, it was so awesome. Zach, you are an awesome Dad.😊
I immediately made these cookies after watching this, and oh, my, I've made unbaked cookies many times for many years, but these are seriously the BEST! Chewy, fudgy, addicting... need i say more! Plus, it's easy to make!
Enjoyed the video. I love, love chocolate no-bake cookies. I never knew about the cream of tartar added in this recipe, will have to try. I only used it in making candy apples, the hard, red cinnamon flavored kind (many yrs.ago). Bradley, first born Bates grandchild, is a great cookie maker. I have watched you all for quite a while, saw Bradley's 1st birthday. I'm going to have to make these very soon, you have made this grandma hungry 😋 ❤
My kids and I made these when they were little and they would eat it right out of the pan. Bradley, you are growing up too fast! Loved seeing you both in the kitchen together. ❤️❤️🙏🏻
Aww Bradley. ❤❤❤ I feel like I saw him grow up. I remember on BuB him with your dad showing him how to hold a hammer and him saying, "I'm granny's favorite because I'm so good looking'❤
I love these cookies. I remember my mother teaching me how to make these. She called them boiled cookies, but I never loved that name. I like this name better. It was great watching y'all work together. You can tell that he's spent time in the kitchen with you. Thanks for taking the time to teach him these important skills and for spending this valuable time with him.
Also I forgot to add if you spray your measuring cup with like Pam I use the butter flavor your peanut butter comes out so easy and cleans up easy too!!
We made no bakes growing up. We had 17 kids. We didn’t have air conditioning in the summer so these were great since you didn’t have to use the oven. We are all grown up but still love to have these at family get togethers. We liked to put them in the freezer. Haven’t tried them with cream of tarter of heavy cream. Thanks for sharing!
Love watching you all Bradley is going to be an amazing cook thanks to you!! Love your relationship with all your kids!!! ❤️ Keep being a great dad!!!❤️
Pro-tip for you Zach! Spray your measuring cup/spoons with pam before adding peanut butter/honey etc then after you've measured they come out of container much easier ❤
Second time watching the video....mainly following the recipe. Hubster loved them and I will be making more. You and Bradley make such a great team in the kitchen. I'd love to see more cooking videos with you two. Thanks for sharing.
What handsome young man Bradley is. That's wonderful you are teaching him to be an amazing cook like yourself. You are a good father. Those look so delicious! Fudgy is the best. I will probably try these during the holidays. Otherwise I would eat them everyday. I would have to do my cardio drumming and play pickleball all week long! lol. Bradley cracks me up "creme brulee" . You have taught him well.
He's such a cute mixture of both of you! His description of the cookies and gentleness with ingredients is a mirror of dad, his slick finger dips come from mom lol!! Great job you guys!
Zach, my Mom was the main cook at Fillmore Elementary School until someone burned it down August 1991 she'd make those no bake lots of times. Looks like y'all had fun making them. Really enjoyed your video. And now I'm hungry for a no bake cookie! Love y'all and God Bless!❤
No Bakes are one of my husband's favorite cookies. The last time I made them they crumbled, I think I overcooked them. I never heard of adding creme of tartar or heavy whipping cream to it, I will have to give it a try. I love that you are using this as quality time with Bradley, I memory I'm sure he will never forget. Thanks again Zac for sharing all your delicious recipes and tips and tricks with us. I look forward to your videos every week. Oh, my favorite cookie is peanut butter cookies. My favorite dessert is peach cobbler or bread pudding. I haven't had any of these in years.
I also have a son named Bradley and he was about the same age as your Bradley when we made the no bake cookies, your Bradley is a very Handsome young man. God Bless
I'm going to try this recipe. Haven't heard of adding cream of tartar before. Loved in the instructions it says "guard the kitchen from cookie thieves". Lol 😊
Bradley is a cutie as are all the kids . The last time I tried these they wouldn’t set . These and sugar cookies are my most favorite . Good job Bradley
Awesome!!! Delicious. My favorite cookie as well. Liked your helper today. Sweet young man & handsome. Y'all make a great team. Stay safe. God bless you and your family. I can taste the chocolaty goodness. 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
My Mimi and my mom made these when I was growing up and it's the first recipe I learned to make, too! Now my kids are adults and they love them, and so do my grandkids. 😊 Thank you for sharing with us! ❤
Bradley saying that he NEEDS a bite of that 😂, typical kid! I just love this child. I remember when he was born...he is growing up too fast. I have to try these cookies. Bradley says they are good.
Awesome video Zach and Bradley love making no bake desserts they’re always delightful especially when being inspired with new ideas for no bake desserts
This is a recipe that has been passed down through 5 generations in my family. We call the recipe Preacher Cookies. My family credits our great grandmother for originating the recipe when she was a single young lady. The story goes that our great, great grandfather invited the new young preacher to Sunday dinner that morning during Sunday School. Our Great great grandmother was happy to have him, but she panicked because she had not prepared a dessert. She sent her daughter home after Sunday School to come up with a dessert to have with Sunday Dinner. Great Gran knew there was not enough time to bake anything, so she just started pulling stuff out of the pantry, and came up with this concoction. She thought it was a great fail, because they tasted good but looked ugly and misshapen. The Preacher raved about the cookies and said they were the best he had ever eaten. He insisted that she make them every time there was a church meeting or pot luck. That's how they got the name Preacher Cookies, and that's how that preacher became my Great Grandfather! Thanks for sharing your family memories and traditions with us, and for showing us how you are instilling the traditions in your own family. Pay it forward...pass it on! God Bless you and your precious family.
I love these cookies and have been wanting a good recipe. I also love you brought Bradley into the kitchen with you. I can't believe how big he is getting. I love that you started making these cooking videos. I have tried a few of your recipes and as soon as I get the coco I will be making these.
Hi zach! So nice to see you with your son in the kitchen making these delicious easy no bake cookies! Your son is such a cutie, he looks just like his dad. And I just love watching you cook with your stainless steel cookware. Hope you and the family are having a nice evening. See you on the next one! 😊👍🏻💛🍪
How great that you cook with your children. I think it is so important. Bradley what a handsome and sweet boy! I'm going to make these with my grandchildren. Great video. Thank you and take care!!
These were my dad’s favorite cookies. My Grandma made them for years. This was one of the first recipes I learned to make. He worked swing shift and I would usually make them for him when he was on graveyards, bc they’d always bring a smile to his face. They ended up getting the name “Grump Cookies”. Unfortunately, we lost my Daddy in November.
I was asked to make these 3 different times over family vacation (1 week)! So easy to make and very delicious! My recipe is similar except I don’t let the chocolate cook that long. As soon as the chocolate mixture starts to boil, I time it out to 60 seconds and take it off the heat. Then I add the PB, oats, and vanilla. They come out perfect every time!
So much fun to watch the two of you together cooking. When you have your kids cooking with you, can you tell their ages and grades in school? Thanks for another fun video.
I love no bake cookies and watching you two make them also brought back memories of my mother and me making them😢, so thank you Zach and Bradley😊. I think I’m gonna go make some.
