Welcome to this documentary video in the form of a walking tour of the historic city of Braga, Portugal. Today is Easter Sunday and the streets are full of tourists and locals celebrating.
Our tour starts at Praça da República, where the beautiful fountain sings to the sound of passers-by. Here we can contemplate the Church of the Third Party and the former Palácio do Raio, which today houses the regional handicraft shop.
We also visited Jardim Santa Bárbara. This picturesque and peaceful garden is the perfect retreat from the hustle and bustle of the city. Let's admire the flowers and lush vegetation and enjoy the peace and serenity of the environment. This is a wonderful place to relax, enjoy nature and recharge.
Continuing our tour, we stop at the famous Rua do Souto, one of the busiest in Braga. Here we find traditional shops, cafes and restaurants, as well as some of the oldest churches in the city, such as Igreja de São Marcos and Igreja do Carmo.
We continue to Largo do Paço, where the majestic Paço Arcebispal and the Sé de Braga are located, with its impressive baroque façade and winding towers. It is a must visit for anyone who wants to know the history and architecture of the city.
Finally, we walk along the beautiful Avenida da Liberdade, which takes us back to Praça da República, where we end our Tour. We hope you enjoy this trip through the city of Braga on an Easter Sunday and that you fall in love with this charming city as much as we do.
