I truly love all those classical musicians from South Korea! It's a very small country but it has produced so many world-class classical musicians to the world! Korean people are awe-inspiring people!
It's so good that the conductor showed himself as a personality in his attitude towards Bomsori. Bomsori is a priceless soul in our modern world. Bomsori put all her extraordinary soul and heart into this performance. And it's good that at the very end of the performance, the conductor so clearly expressed his gratitude for such the bright demonstration of live human talent of Bomsori. It can be seen that during the concert he conducted the orchestra creatively, that is, not mechanically or formally. And at the end of the performance, he stepped off the conductor's pedestal and sincerely thanked Bomsori for her violin playing, which "stunned" and "melted" the hearts of all listeners.
The combination of her musical talent and her stunningly beautiful expression is mesmerizing. Hopefully I'll get an opportunity to watch her performance live someday!
I have heard this violin concerto, probably my favourite, many many times but never performed better than here. Little Bomsori Kim is magnificent and the K.B. S Orchestra, under Yoel Levi, play superbly. What does surprise me is that this combination has not recorded together, they are impressive with all the "Big" concertos I think. Thank God for RU-vid!
In times of the corona virus we've to stay home - but we can enjoy this wonderful concert of an inspired excellent orchestra and a soloist that will be unforgettable. Thank you all! This music is performed from your heart and touches ours.
Great many thanks to Miss Momsori and the great group musicians who have brought so many great pieces to us human beings, especially in the time of the corona virus we've to stay home! We have enjoyed the wonderful concerts, orchestras and solos so inspiring and unforgettable! This musics are performed and come from your heart and touch our souls. Thank you all and wish all people save and health!
I don't know which is better: either listening to Bomsori's stunningly beautiful musical play, or watching her feelings that accompany this music on her beautiful face.
I was an atheist before I watched this now I believe in God and the divine. I truly believe God spoke to Brahms and Brahms relayed the message in this piece. Bomsori Kim is keeping the message alive thank God for her.
A thought repeatedly arises in my head, which has already been expressed by many commentators much earlier: It seems incredible that such a beautiful girl like Bomsori could actually play so skillfully, with such full of life and strong feelings. After all, among other things, for such the violin playing you need to have both an extraordinary soul and a big heart. How could such a miracle as Bomsori appear on our Earth in general?
Can there really be something more valuable in the world than these living unique indescribable manifestations of the human soul and spirit that Bomsori manages to express with her violin? Moreover, the spirit is rare, non-standard, very-very far from the artificial machine.
Remarcable performance indeed, let it happen again, fans out there in the audience come back & replay event, never stop believe in, music is our salvation friends 👍🦋🤗👌💋🙋📀💐🌈💋🥂🍀💎🎁🎇🎀🍾🌺🎉🍾👏
Gracias, Bomsori Kim. Una maravilla de interpretación. Tu sensibilidad, nitidez en la ejecución del sonido y alma son un modelo. Enhorabuena. Saludos desde Madrid-España.
i really admire her so much for playing the brahms concerto with such small hands..... i saw a few interesting fingerings and a few mistakes but is very understandable cause you need a really large hand to overcome all the tecchnical challenges without problems.... she trully is a musical warrior
This question is also asked by many people. Having a clear mind and a sensitive intelligent heart, Bomsori sincerely and accurately expresses the world of the soul and human feelings (or human essence). There is never anything superfluous in the sounds of her violin. She does not devalue her violin playing by technical virtuosity (to divert listeners' attention from the main thing, etc.). And here the question arises: why does music exist or should exist in the world at all? And, perhaps, your question can also be asked differently: why does the jury of the competition evaluate the technical aspects of the playing more than the human aspects (which are always so clearly visible in Bomsori's violin playing)? … The good thing is that heavy types of martial arts between contestants were not included in the competition program - boxing fights, wrestling, weight lifting, etc. (for tiny Bomsori, this could make the contest more difficult). ... Probably, after all, "something is wrong in this kingdom" of competitions.
Bomsori Kim was not the top 6 in the Sibelius violin competition! Bomsori Kim is the second-rated violinist with ugly colorless violin sound! Bomsori Kim so boring!! Bomsori Kim steals concerts players who are better! No justice in the world! Same story with Ann-Sophie Mutter( out of rhythmic balance all the time! Only reason Mutter is famous because she was Karajan's friend! Also no talent Sarah Chang colorless violin sound like black and white tv picture! Something is wrong with teaching young generation! Same story with the pianists! Zimerman Trifonov Kissin Hamelin Pletnev Buniatishvili Yuja Wang ice cold colorless piano sound players! All good beautiful sound players are dead like Wilhelm Kempff Emil Gilels Artur Rubinstein Radu Lupu Vladimir Ashkenazy! How Shocking! Dimitri Bashkirov her teacher Anastasia Virsaladze teach Bashkirov saying the most important lesson is the Love of beautiful colorful piano sound! We need more teachers like Anastasia Virsaladze!!
Too much loudness, but when you decrease the volume... Separation, position and color of the sound is unique. Excellent recording and great performance.
Thanks to the coronavirus, I could open the amazing Bomsori violin play. The Bomsori's violin thinks, meditates, rushes about in search of a way. The Bomsori's violin is alive. What is this amazing creature - Bomsori? Bomsori speaks to all the universe with the help of her violin, but does not play it.
It seems that all the beauty and perfection of this piece of music (and, it seems to me, even more - its modern relevance and vitality) Bomsori is able not only to easily comprehend with her rare and rich soul and her sensitive heart, but also with a brilliant simplicity and incredibly lively and sincerely to pass this beauty to our souls. Bomsori is a rare gem and an amazing miracle of our time, isn't she?
I also have similar thoughts. Bomsori is beautiful and amazing. She is an absolute rarity. Her music is perfect, because both living human feelings and a clear, bright mind are harmoniously balanced in her soul. Her eyes, like a mirror of her soul, - expresses her living heart, her rare beautiful human essence.
