I'm blown away with this stunning boat ⛵ you guys are incredible craftsmen 100000000000000%. I'm a site carpenter. I'd definitely definitely work for you anytime. Im in Manchester but would be happy to live in my tent for a chance to learn from you guys and be apart of this! And it's my dream life style I plan to live on one one day! And seeing this stunner all the more. Fantastic work.
New York state has 4 canals operating -- Erie, Champlain, Oswego and the Cayuga-Seneca canals. On the Erie Canal you can rent canal boats that look similar to English canal boats[1][2] Canada has the Rideau Canal[3] between Ottawa (on the Ottawa river) to Kingston, Ontairo (located on the St. Lawrence River (Seaway) Rentals are available[4] I've been up to the Rideau canal/chain of lakes it is gorgeous! Canada also has the Trent and Severn Waterway (Canal)[5] Located between Trent, Ontario (on Lake Ontario) to Severn, Ontario (on Lake Huron). I have never been on this waterway. (I, for one, would not like to be in a traditional flat-bottomed English narrow-boat style vessel on any lake, or even a major river with commercial traffic) ________________________________________________________________ 1.) A well deserved win in the 'favourite boat in show' at Crick 2023! So beautiful, well thought out and amazing craftsmanship!! We look forward to seeing you next year! 🤗👏👏🏆 Julia & Chris, Ovation Boats ❤
Gorgeous fit out (though at 6 ft 2 I'm not sure about that bedroom under the tug deck)! We were just out for a walk on the canal and I said to my wife that the only boat I'd seen moving on my walk two days ago was 198, then we passed 201 on the moorings opposite, when a very, very new and shiny looking boat appeared under bridge to the north of your yard, heading south. 200!!!! Gliding along silently on electric and looking beautiful.
I owned Braidbar 26 and I’m glad to see the Braidbar quality and craftsmanship is still there. I lived on it for 10 years and this tug style would definitely not work as a permanent live aboard. Congratulations and well done to all involved.
As an ex-builder and fitter-outer' for a premier boat builder now gone, I am truly impressed with this beautiful example of wonderful craftsmanship and innovation - congratulations! No canals in South Africa, where I have lived for seventeen years and thirty-three years from when I was living aboard out trad 3LW Gardner engined narrow boat Galton on the Staff and Worcs canal. Love it!!!
A real credit to all the steel fabricators, engineers and carpenters -and upholstery peoplewho built this vessel. We do make unrivalled boats of all sorts of materials from around the planet, in this country,if you've got the folding stuff. Money well spent and a lot easier and cheaper to buy and look after than a magnificent British built Rustler 42 blue water cruising yacht. Very different beasts for a very different pond. I'm envious. Cheers for sharing this exquisite British built narrow boat.
Ive never heard of this boat manufacture but wow the level of craftsmanship and attention to detail is just Awesome . Its the best boat ive ever seen , who ever is taking delivery of this fine boat is one very lucky person . You have excellent master craftsman working for you bud top build 😁😁🤘🤘🤘🤘
Now, by now i've seen a lot of video's of narrowboats, but this is absurdly beautifull ! amazing what a creative mind and craftmanship can archieve...... This boat realy took me of guard.
worktop with gold stunning padded walls, tinted windows, the oak top draw carpentry, the seti love the worn distressed texture, with led strips individually zoned, hybrid, bedroom stunning.. interior finish is exact how I like, hand painted on exterior top.draw. and I ain't even a boater, but some thought how good a boat cud be. congrats ure nu 1 and I ocd n my ways
A lovely boat with superb craftsmanship, the only things I would change would be the opening side of bathroom cabinet, the overhead bed lights (bit old fashioned) & more hanging space in main bedroom, not enough unfortunately. Good job though 🦆💕
This maybe just me but I need big windows with lots of light and that front bedroom is like sleeping in a coffin, but I do love the granite and the sofa !!! Over all nice job 👍
Saw Reginald at Crick, took the tour and it really is an absolutely beautiful boat. Everyone was let on at the stern and lead up to the bow, and that bedroon had everybodys inner 10 year old jumping out of them.
I had a narrowboat years ago forty foot built myself except for the shell but looking at this it’s the next generation in narrow boats must have been expensive high craftsmanship.
Really enjoying the videos, especially as we are fitting out out narrowboat at the moment. Your boats look fantastic! We are local and thinking of using Karndean flooring - wondered who you use for your flooring? Thanks and looking forward to the next video.
I would round those sharp corners on the kitchen granite. If you are having to run through the boat you could hurt yourself on these. And I would hinge the bathroom vanity unit the other way so the door opens towards the wall not into your face. The towel cupboard i would use slatted shelves or holes to let the warm air circulate more. How do you open that middle side hatch as the kitchen counter goes right up to it, or lean out to close it? A massive amount of work goes into these boats so well done to all.
First time here subscribed and liked 👍. Awesome video 👌👍💝 Wonderful workmanship, beautiful transformation 👌👍👏 i just wonder how much will this gorgeous narrow boat would cost🤔 Awesome👌 😍 ✌❤🍀
Looks absolutely stunning......but do you really have to crawl through a minature door to go to bed? That just seems a bit daft unless you are under 3 feet high!
This might sound stupid, but I live in America in a landlocked area and have no knowledge of canal boats. I have a question about the entry doors. Do they leak in heavy rain or snow? I noticed that when the doors are closed it looked like some light was getting through, or was that just the inside lights playing tricks with my eyes? Either way, this boat looks amazing! Renting a canal boat is 100% on my bucket list. I was also wondering how reliable the locking mechanism on the entry doors is? Thank you for taking the time to read all of this, have an awesome day everyone.
Actually, the forward cabin is palatial! I've lived and cruised aboard a 30' sailboat for 26 years in the PNW of the US. The fwd cabin is well designed, love the stairs and folding bookcase door. Excellent use of space. I'd be in heaven in the fwd cabin.
