Let your 8 yr old wear her natural hair, don't make her feel dependent on wearing weave, if you're teaching her to wear her natural hair that's good too. The Afro is the most memorizing hair out here, me personally I get more numbers and compliments when I wear my natural hair, and I have 4c hair. The most discriminatory hair in the business world. Being a firefighter braids and cornrows is manageable for me. Embrace the fro!
