I love the simplicity of this. I like how the vocal takes a whole minute to come in. I like how mellow and instantly recognisable as Braids the music is. The vocal is just beautifully understated and intimate and sounds "close" in the mix, it's admirably restrained in a compositionally considerate way. The little filter vocal refrain is dead catchy in it's simplicity in content and sonics. I love how some Braids songs ramp the emotional and musical drama and edgy angst up to 11 but this is them being mellow which is hard to do. Brevity being the soul of wit and what not (unlike my comment). 10/10
