Brain Freeze Challenge 

Cool (cold?) fact: it's the palate that 'freezes' during a "brain freeze" -- not the brain itself. The sensation is delivered to the brain via the trigeminal nerve (which often communicates facial pain) and the brain interprets it as coming from the forehead. This perception 'mistake' is called "referred pain."
