i'm a computer engineering student, i sent this to my professor (who i know has beaten base after base years ago) and they're actually impressed when i told them this is the same game they played long ago great work dude
Hi a computer engineering student, i sent this to my professor (who i know has beaten base after base years ago) and they're actually impressed when i told them this is the same game they played long ago great work dude
The worst thing is that, on theory, the background is pretty simple, just some lines (the ones used for fakes) with some color triggers and alpha triggers
This is actually amazing. I had trouble believing this was in the game for a solid 2 min, thought it was a tutorial video lol. I can’t even imagine how this is made. I think we will all look back at this level in 5 years and think: this is where the crazy shit started. I legitimately can’t think of a single person in any gaming community who is this far ahead of their time. You’re a true genius and were lucky to have you in this community idk what else to say.
Fun fact: The language seen in this video is really similar if not identical to a real programming language called "BrainF**k", which is an esolang, a programming language there for fun, not for practical applications.
He could have stopped with a simple terminal and we'll still be amazed However he made a whole GUI with fancy effects and everything because why the hell not
Thanks for using my tune, man! I'm honored! Really cool level. I'll stick to music though, thanks. Math makes more sense to me that way. :P (is this one of the hardest GD levels ever made??)
Thanks for making this awesome track! This level is not actually that hard, considering that you only need to complete 3 challenges to complete the level, and also that you could just copy what I did in this video. Maybe it would be the hardest level to a certain type of person though :)
This is the most ridiculously impressive level I’ve ever seen in this game. This might have just smashed mastergame. I really, really thought this couldn’t be GD, even with the portal at the beginning and the level complete screen. I had to open GD and search for it in order to believe my eyes. (I came from the viprin upload, so I didn’t know it was by you, nor if it was even a level and not just some weird green screen stuff).
I think this is by far the coolest thing i have witnessed in this game, an actual masterpiece. Nothing in this level looks at all possible in the editor, being able to run code, the amazing 3d effects, Menus with pages, what is basically an IDE, so well done. Brainfk is such an interesting language and great fun to challenge yourself with, and i cant wait to try this in gd. huge props, this is spectacular.
Of all the level editor games, Geometry Dash is the only I'm truly impressed. Although Spu7nix borrowed the idea from Brainf**k, the fact that he successfuly replicated the program prove that the game is capable of innovating itself, not to mention that it's been 4 years since the last update.
Everything about this level is unique and innovative in every sense of the word. I love the very original coding concept, its like if I was using the set blocks of scratch programming to manipulate data like if I was doing SQL, and I'm surprised on how everything, the challenges, the animation, the GUI, was done around a simple level editor.
I recently saw a vid on brainf* programming language some days ago, this is a masterpiece (if not better). I have no words. You're just impressive as always.
Brainfuck was such a good choice for doing something like this! The level system you created was really well made, I could imagine myself learning brainfuck from scratch again just by playing this level!
My head just explode of all this mechanics, I literally get lost XD, anyways, a very awesome masterpiece, this has a lot of potencial and deserves a lot of positivity. Very good job!!
the only thing we are waiting now from sputnix is gd’s own programming language so we actually can write some sort of plugins and mods directly to the game like what the fuck
I don't think you'll see this Spu7nix, but I am impressed with your ingenuity. I stumbled upon one of your videos and was pulled into binging all afternoon. I can't get enough of your awesome work bro. Cutting edge, things i doubt anyone would have thought possible in a little game KUDOS YOU CRAZY GENIUS!
Spu7nix you are literally a genius... the amount of sheer creativity that you have is mind blowing... this (and everything else you make) is absolutely incredible. Well done!!
"On the Turing Completeness of Geometry Dash" Jokes aside this is a neat idea, but Brainfugd is basically just assembly, except even less user-friendly, less features but at least some decent loops (god i hate goto)
I have no words...Even the word “Amazing” is an understatement...There is literally no words in the dictionary I could use to describe how stunning and amazing this level...
I played this game a lot a few years ago, and I remember I spoke to you once lol, but it's actually insane how any form of a program could be accomplished in a GD level. I wonder how long this took to make and what's going on in the background. this is an entirely new genre of GD level from what I've seen, really cool stuff :]
You definitely outdid yourself yet again. Honestly at this point I'd think that your talents would be of better use elsewhere. Also out of curiosity, are those backgrounds frame by frame or are you using a different method to move those lines?
In each background there are 80 frames of a looping animation laid on top of eachother, each with their own blending color channel. Those color channels are then pulsed using pulse triggers to create the animation :)
Gd 1.0: a little game where you control a jumping cube Gd 2.1: a literall masterpiece creating machine, able to create things almost beyond the coding language.
I'm going into university for computer science next year and this level not only impresses me but also made me understand a language i found utterly incomprehensible
I program in C++ and Python. Let me say that this process looks confusing, but I suppose it's a language not intended for me. It's more of a language like Basic, although with a lot more symbols than anything, at least in the aspect of beginning programming. Positives: A pseudo language in GD now officially exists, if it has not been achieved before hand. The background is stunning. Text transitions are smooth, and the effort to make a typewriter effect really pays off. This could get a few players into programming. Negatives: This language may be hard for some to learn as the code is represented in symbols, not words. There could be more backgrounds, although not many pay attention to it. The demographic for this level may be very small, although it is quite a major feat. All in all, this was a major accomplishment, but a lot of people may get confused. The level is smooth by all accounts.
I think my brain just malfunctioned while watching this, what is even happening, I don't understand, the fact that this is in gd aswell, god damn man, this is insane
This game used to be just "Hey hard level!!!" But now its just theoretically possible levels and god damm programmers using this thing as a game engine
H.O.W in the flipi flopping hell have you done this??????? it legitimate looks looks a short puzzl game on steam obit no it’s made in geometry dash (and I want to know all your secrets on how this is done jk I don’t need to know I wuld never understand it) this looks amazing!
