In the 1960s multiple communes were started and populated. Communities set up where everyone was expected to donate all their worldly goods, communally grow their own food, create their living arrangements "organically" and raise their families with an eye towards the future of the Communes. It failed. Those hippies, as they were referred to then, moved on and became the next wave of politicians. They collected government paychecks, counted on government retirement benefits (not available to ordinary citizens because they are separate from Social security), sent their children to private schools, and still pushed the failed idea of socialism. Crazy!

When did he answer any question? It's common debate practice. Talk fast to try to throw the opposition off balance. Make the opposition draw a line. Once the other side draws a line you can back them off or draw them in. Neither side said anything of substance.

Reading a book will show you how to research case law and provide valid cases that stand as current law meanwhile cops always gotta gas light Meanwhile the cop went to school/ academy (and never learned law) for less than a year and my barber went to school for two years just to cut hair.

That is because you are smart enough to get through hard classes. I went to Purdue. After 5 semesters of Mech Eng, I decided I wanted a degree in Criminology. I no longer had to buy text books or read them or pay much attention in class, and my grades went WAY up. The caliber of students in the humanities compared to STEM students is amazing. It's not surprising we have idiots on the streets WITH degrees today. Having a degree from outside STEM, means absolutely nothing to me.

I never herd someone in Charlie Kirk's videos saying that he's right. All the people coming to the mic are always trying to outsmart him. Problem is that he truly know A LOT of stuff. When he's saying something it's because he has done his homework and researches before coming up with a fact. Today's whole college student community has been brainwashed by their teachers and school administrators. It's sad. Those kids will have a hard time on the work place. It's already a real problem working with them !

I have an Associates in criminal justice and a bachelor's in marketing. You're 100% right, having a degree doesn't make you a subject matter expert on everything you have an opinion on. I've known, and even dated, people woth doctorate degrees who were intellectually inferior to me on most topics outside their degree focus, and yet most of them have this mentality that they can't possibly be wrong about anything.

Anarchy and communism are mutually exclusive. When people produce something, they will want to keep what they produced rather than have it taken and divided amongst everyone else. In order to have communism, there has to be a central government enforcing it, otherwise people will naturally resort to free market capitalism and sell what they produce and buy what they need.

Capitalism which depends a free market is far more in line with anarchism and socialism which is based on the government controlling the market... I have a B.S. from Cornell in Industrial Labor Relations, I consult with Fortune 500/1000 companies, I also run my own business (in 3 years it'll be 30 yrs), and when I am able to I create gaming content, and help streamers reach their goals. My two eldest children have worked their way up within the company learning from ground floor to top floor how to run a business. But, as I have said to them, "As my father said to me I work hard so you won't have to."

Here is a simple lesson on how people can get rich without making others poor. An artist creates a painting that cost him $200 in materials (paint, brushes, canvas, etc...). He then turns around and sells it to an art collector for $10M. The artist now has $10M and the collector has an asset that is worth $10M that he is betting will go up in value. The collector then turns around and sells the painting to another collector for $20M. The artist now has $10M, the first collector now has $10M, and the second collector now has an asset that is worth $20M. So from an initial investment of $200, $20M was introduced into the economy. No one got poorer, 2 people got richer, and 1 person has an asset worth $20M.

The biggest problem with modern society is this idea that you can't know something or learn something with out having/chasing a degree in that something. I got a degree in game art design and i took 3 electives on creative writing. does it make me Tolkien or Stephen King? No. But i Do know something about writing. Even if I sometimes have a million typos in internet chats. also I got that degree in Game Art Design, studying character creation , Level design and creation . Yet i have not ever gotten one job in the game industry while many people in the industry never got a degree.

Asking if the other person has a degree is just another variation of an ad hominem. The possession of a degree has zero relevance to the question, and to the argument. What is relevant is the factual and veridical rectitude of the substance being argued. Charlie Kirk should make it a practice to retort immediately how, if she possesses a degree, she can't identify her own fallacious argument, recognizing an ad hominem.

The girls' idea of "equality" might be true if all people were 100% the same, as in we all had the same needs at the same time with no flexibility, no ebb and flow. But we're all different in a way that could serve each other, like heart and lungs are different and help each other, like parents help their kids and so on. Toymakers enjoying giving toys to kids, love and differences like that are a huge part of the picture that these people are missing. It's probably loving stories like that, that most conservatives need to tell in order to win these people who think they're saving the poor.

What frustrates me the most about these 'debates' is not whose opinion is what. I don't mind hearing someone else's opinion or personal philosophy, even if I disagree with it. What frustrates me is when neither Kirk nor either of the girls at the microphone will stop talking over each other, and let the other one clarify their full thought(s) before responding.
