An experimental video of continuous braking using high-speed brakes makes the discs red hot, and can be destroyed.
The braking system is a place where it is easy to generate heat and dissipate it into the environment. However, continuous high-speed braking, using unreasonable braking, can cause the speed of heat generation to be several times higher than the speed of the air in the brake fluid.
Brake system on the car is now mostly disc brakes, hydraulic transmission. If you work at high temperatures often, sealing rubber gaskets may melt. Loss of oil pressure, braking system disabled.
In some cases, the hydraulic system is lucky to escape, but the brake discs bear the consequences. The outcome with the drivers in both cases is probably not much different.
These images can occur when the car dies over which the driver uses too much braking.
