I was facing the same problem in my standard 500. It is really bad to see how RE mechanics try to thug you by asking for a complete brake cylinder replacement costing 2500 plus. I was lucky that an elder brother of mine has seen your video and suggested me the same. Eventually I asked the technician to change the kit only and it costed me 200 something. Eventually I was able to solve a problem and saved spending 2500+ . And with your video and knowledge it was solved by replacing a smaller part at nominal cost. Keep making such informative videos and helping us.
Similar issue I have faced in my RE 500. Thank you to my mechanic brother who immediately changed the MC kit. Your video is educational and removing that bubble is a better way to keep the pressure intact. Keep up your good work and motivate others to understand their machine.

Just a quick word... Brake fluid is highly corrosive and makes a great paint stripper! Use cloth to prevent it from touching paint. Wipe clean immediately.

Brake fluid is highly hygroscopic and the way you poured water in to the reservoir to clean is not a good practice if you do not intend to do a brake fluid flush. Fluid in the brake line would absorb and retain moisture and that would decrease it's boiling point and may cause brake failure after repeated braking if fluid gets boiled due to the heat generated. Best way to do is to use suction removal of reservoir fluid, wipe using a clean lint free rag sprayed with brake cleaner (I prefer not to spray brake cleaner directly in to the reservoir to minimize mixing with line fluid). With that described condition of fluid (in the video), I would definitely do a brake flush but still would keep water away. Other thing is obviously protecting painted parts from brake fluid as pointed out by some other viewers. I would avoid contact of painted surfaces with brake fluid even if it is mixed with water, to be safe. Also when working near the tank, I would definitely cover tank to avoid any accidental spills, scuffs, scratches or chips as we are working with tools. It is not about confidence or experience, these are standard practices. By the way, your videos and topics are really good, I appreciate your efforts too. The problem with water in brake fluid is that it can encourage corrosion, and that it lowers the boiling point so that after HEAVY use the brakes would be less effective. Brake fluid by its nature absorbs moisture from the air (‘hygroscopic’), that’s the reason it should be changed periodically. That’s also why a tiny amount added to fresh brake fluid should cause no problem, it’s not unusual to have some in there after a while.
Bro u r are sharing good information but if bike is around 4 years old then better to change the whole break tank instead of MC kit. I changed MC kit but it worked fine only for 1 month. So changing MC kit is waste of time if bike is older.
U r doing a great job to aware public for the saftey issues in bullet. Bc jitni bhi problem dekhi hai sali RE mein hi dekhi hai.isi liye i never choose RE. Mere paas thi mai thora tez chalata tha sali ka engine ka head kharad gya. So all in all fuddu bike.

Agar pehle se theek lag raha ho brake toh hona nahi cahiye...bleed screw me se ek baar saaf fluid nikalne laga toh samajho poore system me naya fluid aagaya hai. Caliper jaam hona ya na hona depend karta hai uske age pe. Aur piston ke upar ke rust se. Jitna piston bahar rehta hai kabhi kabhi hawa aur pani ke contact me ane ke wajeh se rust ho jata hai, fir yehi rusted surface jab piston seal pe se baar baar gujarta hai toh seal ke wear hone ke chances hai aur fir piston jaam ho sakta hai.. but yeh hone ke liye at least gadi 6 7 saal purani honi cahiye.. MC kit change karne ke baad bhi agar brake grabbing ya brake late lagne ka problem ya disc ka bohot zyada garam jo jana ye 3 cheeze agar ho toh yeh caliper jaam hone ke symptoms hai..
Mere paas classic 350 dono tyres me disk plus ABS hai ... 500 km hone pr 1st service krwai hai 1-07-2019 ko... but service k turand baad ghr aate samay do se teen baar peeche tyre me breaks nhi aaye... Break fails to gye the... next day agency me kuch theek kiya but wo phle waali baat nhi aayi.... Plz is baare me kuch sugges kre.... Plzzz reply
Bhai, abhi to full lockdown hai aur garage bhi band hai. Kisi ney mera bike gira diya aur impact brake pey huwa. Aapka jaisa hi problem dey raha hai. Jo aapne change kiya usey kya kehtey hai? Ab main kiya karu vaaaiya plzz batana zaroor...?????????
