I also observed that he had to to put in some steering effort to keep the Baleno in a straight line during the deceleration, the I20 seemed to be more stable during that phase.

Gagan sir as i know hyundai uses dynamic weight distribution sensor which inputs vehicle weight to ECU (Computer) when ABS is active but in case of Baleno there are no weight inputs to ECU because it uses EBD and ABS! This is done by engineers for following braking outcomes- Baleno is better when road is having rough condition. I20 is better when road is having less roughness.
Hi gagan, I need to ask a question, hope to find an answer. I have a Verna diesel 2012 model. There is a knocking sound which stays for 5 seconds approx on cold start up and then everything is ok. I have shown the same to a few mechanics, they are unable to figure out the problem without opening the engine which I do not want.

Sir i have just buy i20 top model asta optional. Sir company give me an instruction that you should not install sheet cover so my question is can i install sheet cover in i20 asta optional with variant 6 air bags?
Genuine test would have been performed with new tyres, new brake pads on both the car and multiple test attempts by different drivers. Moreover weight is the factor that need to be considered.
But this was daily drivers test. You can't drive daily with new tires , brakes. But yes if you are talking about professional only break test, then agreed!

Baleno colour quality is poor. Over the period scratches will start on body automatically. I observed trim noise on rumble strip/ irregular road surface. It got progressively increased over the period. It shows ageing of car. Ageing effect quite faster in this car

The problem is not that d hyundai takes longer to stop...obviously d hyundai brakes are 'over-servoed' n generally stop sooner...d problem is that they are UNPREDICTABLE...When i drive my 2015 bolero zxi, i know that yeh gaari rukne waali nahin...so i drive accordingly...but d i20 gives a false sense of confidence to d driver n SOMETIMES betrays.. I dont like tin can marutis anyways but as ur test shows their perfrmnc is, at least, uniform... Moreover, as tyres get worn out, their performance on DRY roads increases, while d same on wet roads decreases...this is because d grooves are only for displacing water..newer n more prominent grooves dont allow good grip on dry roads..as they get worn out, they offer somewhat larger contact patch n hence more grip- d same reason racers opt for slicks on dry circuits...therefore, given d same tyre compound, d baleno should hv had more grip on d dry road with d older tyres...however, just 4.5k xtra mileage may not have mattered much... Btw, dont ever continue using worn out tyres, thinkin they are offerin better grip on dry roads anyways...worn out tyres n wet roads/rainy days are a recipe for disaster...i myself have faced hydroplaning for at least 12-15 mtrs on an arunachal highway driving a friend's scorpio...i was lucky d section of d road was straight...othrws we all would have ended up in some ditch waitin for some passerby to notice, if alive at all...

Nice Video Gagan Bhai. Based on the experience shared by few of my friends who own 2015-2016 i20 models, some I20 cars had Panic braking issue - wooden pedal feel in low speeds (bumper to bumper braking only). Otherwise there was no major issues in i20 braking as seen in Creta or Verna in last few years.
i think Ford Freestyle Trend Diesel will be a good option. Fuel Efficient and powerful. No turbo lag. Swift VDI and Baleno are also good but its over 8 lakhs
Breaking distance speed k upar depend krta h, more the speed more the breaking distance. Aapne hi bola ki jab i20 75kmph or thi tab Baleno 80kmph par thi, and aapne dono ko same point se break lagaya, to offcourse Baleno ka jyada breaking distance hoga... If your really want to analyze then test both under same exact conditions, I had i20 earlier and now I have Baleno, BALENO IS BEST
Yaar, EBD kicks in only if a panic push of break pedal is detected, but you say that you press breaks gently first before the agressive push. How the car responds to that is based on the algorithm implemented. Why don't you press hard all at once. Or you want a particular car to win?
@@nitishgoel3969 The weight only depends at two instance , one is at the initial acceleration and on the time of hard breaking... Once it starts to move somewhile then weight doesn't matters....😂.. And I'm 100% sure that my words make sense... And its logically correct...

Before u booking i20, check test drive i20 and Baleno, Baleno only have high impact steel beem with international safety, but i20 not tect body, Baleno is value for money, safety is not only in car based on your driving,
I think due to break pad..! Technically how much area contact break pads with the disk at time of when you break ... and in this case i think much more area contact in i20 break pads compare to beleno...
Quality wise I20 good, if they want to compete with indian makers, they have to improve on mileage.. Where most indians look. And they can make high sales of unit..

Hi I have a Grand i10 2019. The braking of the car is sometimes extremely sharp, especially in low speeds, but sometimes it absolutely lacks confidence and rolls ahead than intended. At those times it feels that the brakes are not gripping properly. Is this natural for this car or should I consider a repair of any kind?

Ye judge karna possible nahi hai without keeping both car in same condition. why dont you put a new breaking pads and check disc and also put new tyre on both and then test? other wise this test is not proper and you can not rate which one is better. and yes 2000-4000km agar tyre extra chali hai then it does makes difference & it means that the break pads are 2000-4000km older than the i20s. अगर कार ओनर ने कार को उन 2000 से 4000 किलोमीटर में कार को अग्रेस्सिव्ली चलाया है तो कार की टायर की हालत ख़राब होगी. why you keep saying it doesn't make difference?? just because you are a car guru it doesnt mean that what ever you say is correct. एक और बात, आप खुद ही चला रहे हो. ठीक है लेकिन अगर तीन लोग टेस्ट करते तो हमें पता चलता. दोनों कार को तीन बार तीन ड्राइवर्स टेस्ट करते तो फिर वो परफेक्ट होता. and to everyone jo mujhe gali dene wale hai, jaruri nahi agar kisi baat pe kisi ki raay alag hai to wo hater hai.
