I was a kid visiting a shop down the street from Elsik H.S. . The mechanic told the boss the brakes were done. The boss put the customer in the car in the bay before the brakes were pumped up. I got to witness a perfect solid T-bone as the customer backed out into heavy traffic moving 35mph. Several years later I did tow out to my place clean up job from that same shop due to a mechanic that underestimated work on a performance modification.

Hello, Sir. If I understand correctly, the proportionning valve can be used on 4 wheel disc brake as well as front disk and rear drum brake? Also, is it the powertrain control module that monitors the wheel speed sensors and senses a wheel lock up or the abs control module that does the monitoring? You answer will be very appreciated.
The proportioning valve prevents rear wheel lockup during braking. The PCM sometimes limits engine power during wheel spin, but the ABS has its own module that does most of the Anti-Lock work.
