Rusty! Ugly! An unsightly eye sore! That's what came to mind every time I removed the wheels to work on my project car. Not to mention the faint but constant noise from the front brakes and my increasing concern about the issue of pedal fade. And to that the fact that the bleeder screws were rusted, seized and rounded off! The combination of these factors meant there was only one solution. It was time to go from braking bad to good! So in this video, I cover the removal and replacement of the front calipers and brake pads of my 1984 Chevy Camaro I call Project Plain Jane.
The cool thing about the process is not only does it apply to third gen Firebirds, but it also applies to a host of other GM makes and models, over many years, as well! Therefore, as all ways, the purpose of this video is to share the progress I've made while working on Project Plain Jane, and to share the information gathered along the way in hopes that it will be a help to those of you who come across my channel.
Shout out to Tony Sims at Breadbox Studio for the background music in this video.
