The real Dracula never set foot in Bran Castle, which was neither a friendly place for him to visit nor under his rule. It was once believed that he was imprisoned there after he was captured by the Hungarians in 1462, but historians now conclude that he was imprisoned in a fortress in Budapest.
We enjoy your interesting and lovely videos which are well informed. The story and information compiled are excellent never boring to the end of each video. 👍👍👍
Dracula as a character hasn’t really been mentioned to even be based off of Vlad the Impaler in Stoker’s notes, and that being mostly assumption. Dracula referred to himself as a “Szelkey” (hopefully I spelt that correctly), Vlad the Impaler wouldn’t call himself that as far as I know lol but this is super cool
