Thank you 😃 Regarding your question: If I covered the country where it was crafted, then that was by accident. It's not a secret. It's made in Indonesia. The serial number I do cover. I've been told it's better to keep the serial number for yourself. I do not know all the details. But there appear to be some people on the internet using these serial numbers for insurance scams. And I do not want to be involved in that or take any risk. So that's why I keep the serial numbers of my guitars private.
I finally ordered one!! Matte Black! I'll be putting in a gotoh GT1996 trem and Gotoh Locking nut. Also, brass spring claw, red noiseless springs and brass adjustment screws. 🎉
That's really cool mate 😀 Nice adjustments you're going to make too. Curious about the Gotoh, for what I've heard the fitting is just a little bit different than a Floyd. So I'll follow your progress about how you install it. In mine I've also installed a big Brass trem block (comes standard with the Gotoh I saw) and a trem stabilizer with also the red noiseless springs. It made the guitar more come alive to me. Have fun making the adjustments!
That's a nice one too! Was in doubt for some time if I should buy that one. But then it was no longer available and I saw the red one. Red is one of my favourite colours so I had to have this one. Yes, the sound is great and good for Hard Rock and Metal.
I have one Custom Shop long time ago and I had it made like a left-handed body it was pretty cool actually I sold it later on back in it's time it was about 4,000 new today I wonder how much it would be I bet double that
That sounds cool! I guess indeed double of that these days. The most expensive one on Thomann is 9000.... www.thomann.de/nl/jackson_dave_davidson_warrior_fr_ltd.htm I see that's actually a 7 string. But a 6 string custom will be similar I guess.
Hi @chrisdigital. I haven't done much of heavy trem use with this guitar yet. Only minor trem use. But what I did saw was that after not being used for a couple of weeks, I picked up the guitar and wanted to tune it. But no tuning necessary, because it was still perfect in tune. You brought me onto the idea to make make an additional video with only some heavy trem use and checking the tuning. You will see that video coming soon.
Yes, cool Woezel en Pip :D Nice spotted. Indeed really sweet grain on the fretboard, love it too. In my jam and review video that's coming soon I made some more closeup shots of it.
I'm currently busy uploading the video. It will be available tomorrow 2 PM European time. Here's the link: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-NLbG5TQISCg.html
Thank you Marty! I'm really happy with it. It sound much better than I expected the Jackson pickups to be. I see a lot of people changing them for EMG's. But I think I'm just going to keep it the way it is, it's already quite good. I played some Iron Maiden with it and was already really happy with the sound. On the clean sound you do need to change to the neck pickup for a bit more warmth in it, but that's allright I think. The jamming video is following soon :) Keep watching my channel and it will appear I think somewhere next weekend. Cheers! Peter
