Hi Tron, there's plenty in Aliexpress. It really seems they make an effort this time. For me the only thing missing is a little more juice in the analog bandwith of the oscilloscope, but I get it, it is made to be cheap, so... thanks for watching!

have been using the dso tc2 for some time now , it works ok but it can measure an input voltage up to only 16volt, but the dso tc3 really upgraded that issue .

Nice bit of kit, you should also know you can upgrade the firmware, the only odd thing is on the website you can't down load it for some reason but other youtube's have provided access to the the firmware for version 3

Great review. I thinking about ordering one of these , But Im curious 1) is there a way to set the test frequency for inductor testing if so what frequency options does it have? 2) does it display the Q factor of inductors or does it require manually calculating the Q factor?

Congratulations on the super complete DSO-TC3 Review. I purchased this device, however, as soon as it arrived, I realized that the device incorrectly measured some components informing capacitor instead of register and so on. Plus it wasn't calibrating either. Anyway, what could be the origin of this problem? See, firmware updated to the latest. Thank you in advance for your work and if possible, please clarify this doubt.

Olá Franco, na realidade sou Português. Hoje em dia para importar pago sempre taxa, é uma politica da união europeia mas tenho vários amigos youtubers do Brasil, o Daniel do canal @EletronicaeTecnologia, o Ronivon do @SERTECMANUTENCAO, a Juliana do @ju_lab entre outros e o que tenho ouvido é que está mau nas encomendas que vem do exterior, o imposto é muito alto. Alguns ainda conseguem alguns produtos que passem sem imposto, mas acho que está cada vez mais raro. Um abraço e obrigado por assistires.

Great video thanks! My issues are when i short the 3 wires to calibrate mine it doesn't recognize it and does nothing. Also it doesn't let me use the generator on the oscilloscope to do that calibration either. Please help!

Have you done a measurement comparison on the TC2 and TC3? I found my TC2 both more accurate and more stable in measurements than the TC3 (even after calibrating as suggested by FNIRSI) and readouts on the TC3 tend to jump all over the place.

I have to ask. Which is better the DSO-T3 or the Zeeweii DSO154? Or better yet, what is the best Budget 3-in-1 oscilloscope? I can get both of these for similar prices $50-60 but I just need one oscilloscope as a beginner. What would you get ?

Hello Terence, if you JUST want the oscilloscope, go to the Zeewei, it has a function generator also and it goes up to 18Mhz, it will allow you to handle for example the clock of arduino (16Mhz). If you want something more complete with also a component tester, DSO-TC3 is a good option. The oscilloscope is very limited, much more than the DSO154, but you a lot of other function delivered. Bottom line, it depends on you final objective. Hope it helped and thanks for watching!

Hi, if you don't need bandwidths over 200Khz, this one would work. If you need something over that, you should consider the FNIRSI that wll be released this month or even a Zeeweii. Thanks for watching!

If the FNIRIS DSO-TC3 has BNC connectors, I would buy class sets of them. Also, does anyone know if it can store and playback readings as a DSO can?

Hi, it doesn't have the BNC connectors, but has MCX that will allow you to use a MCX to BNC adapter. I would buy for sure a set of probes. Regarding the DSO, you can't save the waveform as you do on some digital oscilloscopes. Thanks for watching.

Hi, thx for the video. I have a problem to conect it to my Pc, when i plug the Usb it tries to find the port Com drivers, but nothing, it can't find any driver. I use Win7 64bit, maybe the old win7 can be the problem? Do you know where i can download the drivers manually? Grazie

Hello! Sorry for late reply, house move and vacations. Normally, if you have the CH340/1 drivers and Texas instruments drivers installed on you PC, you can connect almost any chinese test device (oscilloscopes, multimeters, etc) and they will be recognized by the system. Thanks for watching.

Hi, I bought this device without a probe, can I still use it to test my car amp for clipping, the amp outputs 500watts 30volts, it's a car audio amplifier. Thanks. I've never used a oscope before.

Hi Jonhy, you should. Without the probe you can test only up to 40V, I'm not sure if it is Vpp but I think it is. The probe is extremelly cheap, is always good to have one, but please veritfy in the manual if what I told you is right. Thanks for watching!

China is not suffering from inflation for over a year - quite the opposite: in july the had over -5% deflation and also the currency has stalled compared to US $ This is caused by lower demand, cheapest russian oil and gas, and a general economy on the verge of collapse cause there is no growth anymore and the purchase index is also low, so their outlook is terrible. but they tend to raise prices and only in a feew spots you find the real chinese street prices which are 1/3 less than those on Aliexpress. At the end of the year they will have to cut the prices too the lowest ever just to achieve their sales goals and to meet the contracts they had signed, usually 10% more than last year which is close to impossible but they will try to lower the damage for missing the goals or forced payments.

Hello! Sorry for late reply, house move and vacations. I have an account on Taobao, the chinese AliExpress and the prices are 30% lower, sometimes more. I think that is because of the warranties AliExpress had to start giving to have the sucess than eBay or Amazon and conquer the ocidental clients. I don't think china will sofer much with the war, the major problem is conducting espionage that made them have santions from the USA, even if in my personal opinion, that might happened also to slow them down a bit, 5G was on full speed on chinese manufactures and the american ones didn't have that implemented, so a problem to the USA. But that's politics, for me, I just review stuff, chinese, american, german, whatever, if is electronics, just send it and I will review it 😁 Thanks for watching!

I updated the fw but I encountered problems. It doesn't recognize a 6.8 mf capacitor if connected between pins 1 and 2. It can read it between pins 1 and 3.....

I got it, and i do not understand why when i measure a capacitor, it gives to me different value of Vloss. If i make 10 measurement on the same capacitor i get 8 different value of Vloss...... what is the reason? Thanks for the video

A capacitator is a analogic device (if can consider it like that) and you don't have always the same result because the internal reaction to the charge is different. Unfortunately, it seems like you actually cannot run the signal generator and the oscilloscope at the same time. At least I was not able to run e.g. the sine wave and read it directly with my probe.

Hello, thank you so much for bringing this up and really sorry for the wrong information I passed. I selected the square wave because I wanted to compensate the probe, but I didn't test it with the sine wave (or any other wave for that mater) at the same time... what a shame... it should be possible to work with both at the same time. I went running to my unit to test what you said and I confirm it. Again, really, really sorry for passing wrong information. Thanks for watching and for reporting this!
