Hideaway Beach clearly is meant to cater to the Virgin Voyages crowd and looks like it does a fantastic job. It will be very popular, even if it’s not really my vibe either. Huge thumbs up if that’s you.

Brian, I agree with you, I personally don't like loud and rowdy music either. I prefer the quiet as well. When you can hear the waves hitting the shore, it is incredibly relaxing. I wouldn't be happy about paying to get a headache. With that said, I now must say, I love you guys!! You are an awesome couple!! I just love going to dinner with you!!! ❤❤❤

With regards to the crowding at hideaway, I have to imagine there’s a correlation between people who love cruising enough to get on the inaugural sailing, and those who pay to see hideaway first. I’d be really curious to see what hideaway Crowds look like a year from now

We loved hideaway because the pool is heated. It was so wonderful in February and we definitely stayed at the opposite end of the dj.😊 we definitely prefer quiet as well. Great video!!! We love watching them❤
Another great memory thanks to you. Where you were on the quiet island with the rocky front and the docks in view, I believe that used to be one of the cabana areas back when you had to tender to the island. We had a cabana there, back in the 2015 ish years and it was a blast. Nothing like those new ones, and we did suffer back then. We had to walk to the bar behind the cabana to get our drinks. lol. Was on a RU-vid cruise channel playlist while doing accounting today (so moreso listening than watching) happened to glance up at a moment in a Ben and David video and went “hey! Is that Brian and Carey??” and it was!
They managed to get A LOT of work done on Hideaway Beach just since we were on Coco Cay on October 5th…the area looked like a really rough, not-even-halfway done construction nightmare zone!
I went on Icon last week and loved it. By far my favorite ship as well. We never got off the ship only in cococay to eat lunch at snack shack and then we got right back on 😂 Can’t wait for Star of the seas!
The Oasis Lagoon no longer has a DJ. It was the party pool, but no longer has the same vibe. It's more family friendly now. People pay for the adults only, Las Vegas party atmosphere at Hideaway Beach. That's the difference between the two. If you want a laid back swim up bar, the Oasis Lagoon pool is now the place to go.

Chill island is the place to be. Funnel cake is amazing, yep the ice cream is much nicer than on the ships. Booked it for our cruise when it went on sail for $18.99/person. Can’t wait. I’m not a Vegas poor party type either but I’m sure we will love it. Also the swim up bar pool is heated
I went to cocay on allure of the seas a month ago. I prefer the beaches on chill island for the same reason. I prefer a quiet, relaxing vibe over loud music.

The other ship must have let their passengers off first. We were just there on Friday, the 15th, but had a Day Bed which we love (Chill Beach). I like to be close to the water for snorkeling, and based on your video, you can't swim thru the rocks to the ocean. And at different times of year or even days, it could be pretty rough. Thanks for the video.
The obvious thing you’re missing is that hideaway pool is heated!! Swimming in Oasis lagoon is like a titanic experience! Hideaway is amazing because of the heated pool period. Nothing else at Hideaway makes it worth it.
Dinner time question - Would you ever consider sailing on a Carnival or NCL ship? And if so, which one. If not, why not? (I'd love to see you guys try out Carnival Celebration)
I've always heard it's called the "Secret Sandwich " I saw on Griff & Alyssa's Vlog a couple of years ago. And the Snack Shack already knew what it was when you ordered the secret sandwich. Maybe it depends on who's working that day. Cause they are pretty popular! (On vlogs) Second I think I would save my money not go to the Hideaway Beach. We're kinda quiet when it comes to our beach time.
Hey guys, I need some advice from the best cruisers I know. So for my birthday after this birthday (lol) I might be going on a cruise. This year I am already going on Utopia for a birthday cruise. So I have a few options and it’s Jewel, Utopia, Wonder, and Freedom. All but freedom are doing a 3 night. Freedom is sailing a 5 night to Labadee and Coco, I don’t know what to choose. I need your help deciding. I have been on freedom but I like that itinerary. I haven’t been on Jewel and wonder but will be going on Utopia. What do I do?! thanks guys.

Honestly glad to see you give Hideaway a thumbs down, been on the fence but I also hate loud music, I want to relax and refuse to pay for the Beach Club anymore for what they are charging now. Guess we are staying on the ship now lol

LMAO I think after college age the loud music gets really old. I hate bars where you have to scream at each other to hear You should totally make a collage of all the photos. I think the no kids thing is because some people just don't want to deal with children which is fine.
