Brand New Bandai TCG Revealed! Union Arena Announced in English! Bleach, Hunter x Hunter, JJK! 

Bandai is annoying. They can’t even print all their current games at the appropriate volume, and now their adding on another. They are spreading themselves too thin

The Union Arena concept to me is more intriguing than making tcg of singular series. Just because of repetitiveness and because different sets will attract different people.

I’m excited and worried. I’m not sure how much staying power this game has

Bandai is doing way too many card games but I'm honestly looking forward to this game. Even if its just as a casual game. I hope it does well in the US. Bandai should just focus on one piece and union arena.

It has great set themed sleeves so that's a win Game floped in Japan so idk about playabilty

I know what every anime is stuck to it's own thing, so you can't mix hunter hunter and bleach for example, but are they gonna be in the same set? For example I buy a booster pack and get cards from all 3

As someone who has been following this for the past year I’m very excited. That said the biggest thing for people to learn is that it’s a secondary game (like WS) so it’s an easy thing for Bandai fans to pick up since you only ever buy a set a year. Now we wait for next week to get real info. New card back, different IP order, maybe rebalances coming as well?

This looks exactly like what I inititally believed the One Piece TCG was going to be... a quick and easy anime TCG cash grab... Now to be fair, I underestimated One Piece's influence as an IP slightly. But to anyone who thinks the OPTCG is doing as good as it is JUST because of it's IP is crazy! There's a lot that's going into propelling that TCG into unicorn territory... That said, THIS anime TCG looks exactly like how I feared the One Piece one would (but didn't thankfully). I don't see this being anywhere remotely as successful as One Piece. But I feel like Bandai execs are probably flying high on their farts from all the profits made from One Piece that they themselves don't even fully realize why One Piece is succeeding where other's have failed... I just hope Bandai doesn't waste too much time and resources into this kind of side thing... the cards look cringey as **** IMHO....

Yikes, I was hoping that these three would be coming as Wiess Schwartz sets. I honestly don’t want this to succeed because I’m a Wiess fan.

I dont think this is a good idea, I hate to say it, but Ban Dai is starting to alienate their own card game communites by pumping out THIS many card games in a short time, they have what, four games now? This is number five? Stahp it

Contrary to One Piece, Union Arena has been a failure in Japan. While the participating titles seem as strong as One Piece, the card design appears tacky to Japanese audiences. There have been suspicions of rare cards leaking from the printing factory to auction sites, some boxes have a lower than expected inclusion rate for necessary rare cards, and the continuous betrayal of user trust led everyone to stop buying. Users familiar with Bandai predict, "It will likely end its service by the year after next (2024)."

If it means dropping the crazy prices of one piece, then bring it!!

I'm happy and annoyed. Happy the anime cards coming out, and that scalpers will switch from one piece for a while. Annoyed, another game to eat it's other properties, and scalpers will be ready to feed.

Digimon will always be the best! the only tcg I play and collect, none of the anime properties interest me so I won't be getting into Union Arena either
