@@iLoVeSD70Ace35 it’s too bad because a railway name change would be so easy to do. BNSF owner Warren Buffet and BNSF President and CEO Kathryn Farmer could definitely make it happen. At least a few real heritage units and not a locomotive full of stickers! All of the class ones except for the orange railroad have done real heritage units. Of course if BNSF did the unthinkable and brought back the Santa Fe, it would blow away all the competition in the image and name recognition department! Hands down! They own all the rights to it so why not use it?

If it were me, I would have the 4 motor 6 axle ES44C4s, ET44C4s, SD70ACE-P4s and SD70ACE-P4s in the red and silver warbonnet for intermodal service and their 6 motor counterparts in the blue and yellow warbonnet and the conventional cab units in the blue and yellow scheme that the SD39 and U23C locomotives, as an example, were delivered in.
