Saw it yesterday in Katowice. :) These wingtip smoke circles... Thank you for the great show ! Such an emotional experience - goosebumps on forearms and almost tears in my eyes.
Yesterday, a T-28 Trojan crashed 2 kilometers from my house. I do not know why . But it's scary, I was driving down the road and it happened right next door. one man survived. So we'll see what happens next.

Loved flying it at VT3 for basic in '72. Carrier qualification at VT5 in T28C (tailhook and chopped propeller to keep from digging into the deck) Lots of room compared to the TA4F/J I flew in VT21 for advanced jet in '73.
Music instead of round engine sound??? Blasphemy!!!🥲really neat wing smoke patterns though. Such a magnificent plane. We are in Palm Springs🌴right now and a T28 just went over. I believe that it is owned and operated here possibly by the museum.
The matte flat black parts are painted that color to avoid blinding glare for the pilots' sake that comes invariably especially from white or metallic paint schemes. This NEW type of paint scheme IS entirely reasonable; best for safety, especially in air combat. Besides black, this paint scheme is dark beige. THIS aircraft, NOT being militarily primarily concerned with appearance anymore, these two tones are thus reasonable AND attractive, imho, similar to the car options packages of Cords, Rolls-Royce and Hudsons in the 1920-40's; this time, now flying symbols of understated, gentry elegance, power, performance and quality instead of spectacular or stealthy military or otherwise common and known paint jobs, n'est pas? It's New!
