Personally I love the looks you’re going for, kinda a low key Cholo vibe. I do suggest tinkering with the handlebars as in maybe an inch or inch and half back towards you. That small amount can be huge without losing the angle you are looking for when the bike is on the jiffy stand. PS I’m never going to bash someone’s style of bike looks that’s why the sell millions of different parts 😉
Love that Indian Larry lives on . My favorite biker build off Billy Lane vs Indian Larry. This episode Larry said it’s about friendship/brotherhood he won but cut the trophy in half called it a draw
Such a beautiful build and transformation. Let the haters hate and if they don't like it, then Tanya can show them that the finger she wished had been the one that got cut is perfecly well. Your bike, your build, your lives, period. Great job on this build. CHEERS!!
Buy a second set of grips, great choice I've run them on all my bikes. Why two they will get dirty, that's a given. Keep up the great work, I've always been a road king fan.
Love the grips, but I still think you should have used pointed white & chrome ones like on you other bike. Something else I would do is extended bagger bags & a big trunk bag & maybe a front fairing. Other than that love the build.
Thanks! You’re so right and everyone is certainly entitled to their own opinion lol we want you to have your own opinion! Just not when it’s provided cruelly 😁
That Bike looks SO Badass! The white hand grips actually look awesome! Great Job 😃 and the Queen Crown Gas Cap, So Cool 😁😎 Can't wait to see Tanya ride 👍
My favorite.. most comfortable bars I've had are the buckhorns. All of the other I have found twist my hands out or in an unnatural direction. I like my thumbs forward ish to the center if that makes sense
Ape Hangers for Life. Looking good now as for the derby cover... Find an engraved derby and get a digital pic of your paint or the factory code for your local paint mixer and do it yourself.
They do look good, if you can get them not as wide. That will help your comfort, the height looks good for you, and you do have a slight bend in your elbows looks good.
First, thank you for the Koozie Award! The Road Queen is looking very regal with all her jewelry and bling; I like that you've embraced your Inner Chrome. With regard to the Derby cover, I think the challenge is that you're looking for recessed black with chrome on the main level. That means that makers would need something that started as black powder, then chromed so the engraving would reveal the black. It's very challenging with mixed material since the chroming process usually starts with bare metal, copper and nickel plating before the chrome is applied. Today's TWSS Rating is 2: I felt like I needed to avoid the high-hanging curve ball, and just leave this one: "I get to hold the flashlight." Ride safe friends!
I could see her letting it get outta control a little, and then she'll be all done ✔️ because that bike is too big for her. If you can't pick it up by yourself, it's definitely way too big..
Good to see John T. in the cameos ! Still waiting for the next J.E.T. film to come out. The bike was not "aired up," so I think that full lock turn might surprise you. You'll be ok, but you'll rethink the angle on those bars.
Its been fun watching the progress of your Road King. I love everything you've done to it. Your personality oozes from this bike. Just as it should. Harley owners are notorious for personalizing their bikes. what's right for one may not be right for another. I appreciate the personalization of peoples Harley. I like yours so much I went and bought a 2004 Road King. My personality will shine through my Road King just as it does with my Fat Boy. Peace out and be safe.
You guys can be naughty at times. Your Indian Larry points cover gave me the idea to get a cover shipped to Australia for my 2012 Electra Glide so wish me luck on making that happen. You guys are the best so don't change a thing, Kind Regards Andrew from Oz.
you all crack me up!! also shout out to J.E.T. films and uncle bogator!! I have a forward lean on my handlebars for that stretch and cause it's cool. gonna get me one of those Indian Larry covers!
Tanya’s Roadking build has inspired me to build my 2007 Roadking CVO and i wanted to day thank you VPCUSTOMS your videos have been awesome and a help!!
Look anyone that instructs bike riding or has rode multiple bikes knows those bars are a little big and too far forward…but to each their own. Love you two and the channels
Bike is turning out beautiful!! Your vision has shined (Literally lol). WELL DONE! You 2 inspired me to build my own Road King. Hopefully I get a great deal like YOU DID. Tuned in 🎥‼️
things like handlebars and exhausts are a subjective thing, i do not like loud exhausts and high handlebars but i am not riding your bike if you like it then it is perfect for you. I say ride what you want the way you want
Tanya the bike and the handlebars look great. I learned that opinions are like a-holes. Everyone has one. I went through the same thing with my bike. I bought a 2013 Ultra Classic. I got it in June 2022. I got it for me and my wife to ride. Well in December 24 2021 she passed away from health issues. That following Spring I tore it down and custom it how I knew my wife and I wanted. Thirty eight thousand dollars later it looks beautiful in my eyes. Just remember your doing this Road Queen the way you wanted and love it. Don't worry about others telling what you need or do to your beautiful bike. Keep up the great job. And just do it your way!
Dont know about the bars rolling forward would have to see it in person. The blue with the white seat and grip with the chrome, bike looks fantastic. Videos and photos sometimes just dont do things justice. Like Nigera Falls. Nice touch with the Indian Larry derby cover.
FYI the gas cap looks cool but pay close attention because it is made of metal and the I had started scraping paint and the last thing you want is paint flakes in gas tank.
Great little touches to an already beautiful build. Haters are always gona hate that’s what they do it’s ur bike u build it how u want as long as u like it that’s all that matters
Your handlebars are great and the overall look of the bike is badass. You two are fun to watch. I do think you need to remove the Roadking logo on the fenders, replacing them with RoadGodess logo.
I am sorry I always assumed, that when a person builds a custom vehicle that they do it to their taste not anyone else's. so to hell with the haters. your bike fits you great job!
It has been so insane watching you guys from the start work on this bike project. When I saw it at the beginning I was like, Oh shit, this is not going to go well for her. She ended up with the most beautiful 2000s Harley have seen ever!
I really like the color of your bike and the seat is very nice. I'll bet it's so comfortable. Did I mention blue is my favorite color. Looks great out in the sunlight. Looks like a nice day in New York to go riding. But like you said you don't have a babysitter. It's still early in the riding season so you have time to enjoy yourself. Nice video. You guys make me laugh every time I watch. Have a great weekend.
Love your guys videos!! Been watching since the beginning of the road glide build. I just bought my first Harley this week. Picked up a 2010 street glide and currently have it torn down in the garage and starting the rebuild. I’m using your guys videos as inspiration. Thanks for all your hard work and for providing us with these videos!
