Our Homegoods and HomeSense are right near each other. HomeSense seems to have more furniture, outdoor furniture, rugs and lighting. I just bought a rug there but I know I have seen the same rug at Homegoods.
I have been to the Home semse in New Jersey and It was so full with amazing merchandise. Now that I will be moving to Florida I will be visiting this store. Especially since I saw a console that I like
Katie I’m a new subscriber and I love your channel!! SO excited for you for your Home Sense store!! Hopefully Iowa will come on board with them!! Keep up the great content!🩷
Katie, I know you love Le Creuset for the Dutch oven, so did I. Don’t over look ALDI. They have the cast iron Dutch ovens in the fall for less than $40 and just had the large braisers just recently for $30. Had mine for 10 years and still great…. Just not a name brand… just a thought.
Wow Katie, this store is Amazing! So many great products! I love the cream Dutch oven, gorgeous! The green accent chairs are so beautiful too! It was great shopping with you today! I hope we get a Home Sense in my area! Thank you so much for sharing. Have a wonderful weekend 🤗💖
Both homesense stores are about the same distance from me so it doesn’t make a difference but it’s nice another one opened because the one in lake Mary appears small to me
It’s the SAME company really… TJX Companies is the parent company of HomeSense, as well as HomeGoods, and they also own Marshalls and TJ Maxx and Sierra (In the US and Canada) So they have created what you think is competition but it’s all owned by the same company! 🤪
It's because the consumer market will never lack for people who like a bargain. I live in NYC, and my career is in the corporate fashion industry...I've sold and developed products for off-price stores. Where I live, I have 3 off-price stores that are basically next to each other, and all 3 store locations are within the top 20% percentile of highest annual sales for their respective retail companies overall. The thing about off-price is just as many middle-class consumers as working class people enjoy shopping at these types of stores...and even upper-middle class people buy certain things from these stores. Right now in the US, sales for off-price stores are very healthy, while many department stores are experiencing declining sales. TJMaxx/Marshalls/HomeGoods does about $55 Billion annually.
