This is a masterpiece, I enjoyed my sample but I doubt I would buy a bottle unless I find it heavily discounted. it reminds me a lot of a combination of 2 fragrances. Tom ford noir extreme & haltane.
Not every perfume needs to be 'beastmode'. Some perform so much better when they're crafted to behave in a very specific way and could (arguably) then be called well mannered, suiting their constituent materials so much more. This is one I might have to sample, thanks to (and indeed for) your description..
I like it, got a decant and it’s leathery, slightly sweet, a little medicinal, not dense. Has a little of that blue notes/aoud lemon mint airiness. There’s some resemblance to Versace Oud noir, similar dna but they do their own thing. Out of the two I prefer black noir as it isn’t as heavy and it’s easier overall to wear. 8/10.
Mikey they are macerated, but once you spray them the fresh air that gets in there greatly improves the longevity and projection on most of my bottles. I would say about 90% of my bottles I just prime them when I first get them and I wait a few weeks to really give my opinion. They definitely change. Great review, and you were lucky enough to have a practice session before the recorded review, that’s thy it turned out flawless.
Pretty sure your meant to twist the cap on these, you twist it 90 degrees and then the magnets repel each other and it just pops off with no pulling needed.
Thanks very much for the review(s!) 😊 On Fragrantica there's a comment that the tiare flower smells a bit of coconut. All the other notes sound like my cup of tea, but that one I'm not too sure on. I guess I'll just have to give it a try.
I don’t get a coconut note in it although I can see someone perceiving a little tropical (I don’t see it personally though). Tbh the biggest note I notice is leather but it’s not a typical leather fragrance, it’s soft.
Sorry to hear about your first review. I just got my Amore Cafe, that is a fantastic fragrance. I am interested in Black Noir, I have heard it smells a bit like Ombré Leather. But doesn’t seem like that.
This is just my opinion but amore cafe is absolutely the worst mancera I’ve smelled. Sicky sweet, to the point being around it I feel like I’m getting a cavity. It’s like taking Carmel, throwing it in a pot, cooking it then adding a whole 10 pound bag of confectioners sugar and mixing it together.
