Man that’s a great looking boot. Love that distressed look a lot. I’m with you with the side zip, which is what I’ve enjoyed with my Harley boots.

In 1983 I bought a pair of Chippewa work boots for doing geophysics in the Black Hills of Wyoming. I didn't continue doing geophysics, so my work boots became my motorcycle boots. 37 years I have been polishing these tough rugged, long lasting boots that still look really good. They still have the original Vibram sole, and original heals. I suppose when the sole, and heal wear out I will just have them replaced. At this point I am not sure which will wear out sooner. Me, or them. One thing I do know is that they did take some time to break. Now they are as comfortable as a boot can get. Would actually hate to have to replace them.

Good story about your boots. I doubt my new boots will last as long as the Chippewas. My HD engineer boots are 20 years old and need new soles. I may get it done this winter as they fit my feet like a glove. Thanks for watching and posting the comment.

Nice boots wheels,i used to wear doc martens in my younger days,but I prefer RST touring boot,comfy from the start.

For longer rides I'll still be wearing my touring boots. They're taller with shin protection and probably better at dealing with water. Thanks for watching.

Cool boots! What type of pants were you wearing in this video, I see they had knee protection in them, I’m looking for a comfortable pair of riding jeans with hip and knee pads? Thanks for sharing!👍

I think the brand is Bilt. They have removable pads for the knees and Kevlar around the knees, hips and rear end. Not as protective as leather but better than a plain pair of jeans. Many thanks for watching.

I believe those are a pair of roper style gloves that I bought at a farm supply store. Not actual motorcycle gloves. Made for riding horses and working on a ranch or farm.
