SunTek just released a new thicker paint protection film. In this video I install a precut bumper on a 2019 Porsche Macan. I’ll give you my feedback on how it cuts on a Graphtec plotter and how it installs. You’ll also be able to see how it looks. Does it have a lot of texture? Or is it smooth and glossy. Watch the video and find out.

Love your video man, I just installed ppf to my car about 2 months ago and I really like the result and the effect on my car, but I just wonder, can I do it also to my helmets? Is it possible? I need to minimize any scracthes on my helmets

What did you use to make your cut board on the wall?

It’s called porcelain coated steel. It’s magnetic and can’t be cut with a blade. www.whiteboards.com sells them. This one is a skin with an adhesive back. I mounted it to a board before hanging it on the wall just to give it a little rigidity.

What's the cost difference for Ultra Defense?

Depends on where it's applied. But you could be looking at a 15% to 20% increase. I'd only recommend it for very high impact areas. Bumpers wheel opening rocker panels come to mind.

Lol Suntek sucks. This stuff is not self healing. There is no 10 year warranty. I had this product and it did not protect my car for even 1 year. There is a reason the largest Nissan Dealer in Lincoln, Nebraska does not use Suntek PPF anymore. They have switched to Xpel and so should you. Xpel stands behind their product. Suntek does not. You’ll find out the hard way. I cringe at people using this on expensive cars.
