Hello Saylors! Been a long time since I’ve been able to join you folks…but this was a GREAT one to catch up on. What a beautiful plane. I love the “scale like” flying. A truly unique aircraft. We’re in the planning process for moving back to southern Missouri. I’m hoping to have room available to put in a personal RC strip. We’ll also eventually have a guest cabin (Dome Home style) on the property. There will always be a standing invitation to the whole Saylor crew once it’s up and ready. God Bless you all…always.

For me personally, I didn't think the aircraft had great curb appeal on the ground, but it looks and flies beautifully in the air!

I just got my first rc plane last Friday and it’s the Chandra Patey edition cub s2 and love it!! Now I’m looking for my next plane

One of the Very Best Flying Machines in the E-flite Fleet !... but the color needs to be either Orange and white or Black and Yellow. The overall visibility and Checkering under the wing would really Pop Out with these colors !... IMO. :>)

Did the maiden on mine this morning. Flew twice on 3S 1800 batts and then one more flight on a 4S 2500. It flies relaxed and realistic on 3S. I set my voltage alarms to 3.5v and got 5-6 minute flights at moderate throttle. The 4S shifts the CG back a little and the plane (set up just like the manual says) can easily do inside and outside snaps at blender speeds. Landing with half flaps is sooo easy as long as a gusty wind doesn't throw you off. I just ordered 2x 4S 3500s. I'm going to enjoy this plane!

This is an ideal plane for those with orientation worries or (like me) older eyes. The wide wing is easy to see and the checkerboard bottom makes it easy to see inverted/banked.

I went to Rider's Hobby shop in Grand Rapids last weekend but didn't buy a plane. I finally went to the dark side and purchased a Traxxas 1979 Bronco Ranger XLT. I did look at that plane and several others I put on my list. I finally joined the Traversecity RC chapter so I am in two groups now. I finally got to take off and land on a paved runway! That's my next plane! Still gaining confidence on the carbon cub on experienced mode but in a month or two I'm ordering the commander bnf. I will absolutely order it through your link because you have the best videos for a newbie to seasoned veteran.

Wow, that's unusual for this plane to be nose heavy with a 2200. Grandpa Gary uses a 3200 firewall forward for :) smooth level flight, no trim needed. Great video Saylors. This plane is awesome. It's my next bird. AirHammer out!!

Nate, that's how a tail dragger is supposed to take off. Tail up, run on the main gear, and then lift off.

I fly my old commander on a 5000 pack and you really don't even notice the difference it's got such a big Wing area. Great flight times over 12 minutes. But 4S would be great.

Quick question; what control inputs are you using to "Snap?" is it sticks in upper left right corners?

it looks like the spitfire with fixed gears.

My commanders have 60 amp esc and 13 by 6.5 prop.They should have stayed red.

Did the LG get moved forward? Or the same? It's a geat flying plane. Fabulous design. The nose weight on the spinner nut. Also was a problem. I did 4s the original. Over powered it. Over did the surface throws. Great job guys! Love it. Eflite H. H. Are very nice planes for the $ consumer.

I'm glad they brought this plane back but really disappointed they changed the color, or didn't at least come out with multiple colors for people to choose from.

You're lucky to get a plane that isnt defective. 2 of my planes purchased from Horizon have been. I am hoping to get my money back from them after the Aeroscout had a bad receiver and ESC. I am done with Horizon

I wonder how that puppy would handle with a nitro Fox, Os, or Mccoy engine. Id say a . 40 would make it cook in the air, and no stinking explody- lipo batteries. Id say it would be awesome!

Watched the entire video did you forget to mention about the reverse thrust ability with the new esc? or did you intentionally leave it out for some reason? As a review type of channel it’s important to mention every upgrade or detail about the product you are reviewing. Up elevator trim would cause the plane to dive, not climb, when inverted. Sounds like the plane may be a little tail heavy.
