I’m actually in the process of rebuilding my wardrobe. I purged a lot after the pandemic and I gained weight so I couldn’t fit some things. I’m focusing on basics and staple pieces like a new trench, running sneaker, basic tall black boot, new comfortable denim, dad hat (even though I’m not a hat girlie LOL), new underwear garments & good white t shirts❤

I love this concept and its forcing me to think what categories I would want and if I have them currently. For my personal style, I'd have to also add light, med and dark denim button downs, a cropped white button down, combat boots, riding boots, camo pants, cargo pants, some leopard calfhair and/or snake print boots, some light and dark wash skinny jeans, a wrap dress, and an interesting trench coat.

If I had to rebuild my wardrobe it would be of course a: 1. maxi length wool coat, 2. real leather trench coat, 3. wide leg wool trouser, 4. long sleeve pussy bow blouse, 5. white button up men's oversize oxford long sleeve shirt, 6. relax fit straight leg denim jeans, 7. maxi length denim skirt, 8. pull-on long sleeves stretchy knit top, 9. midi length sweater dress, 10. men oversize fit blazer, 11. leather pair of rider boots with thick thread sole, 12. large real leather shoulder bag . I would be going to thrift store/secondhand store and enjoying the hunt. I enjoyed this video and there some great inspiration to be taken from your list.

When I look back at some of your old pics on instagram you seemed to be more in love with dresses. What prompted you to be more of a pants lover “ bottom lover” over the last years ?? First, I loved this video!! ❤❤❤ It really got me thinking. One piece I would have to replace if I had to start over is a boxy cropped tee. I have the long sleeve and short sleeve versions in black, white, and gray by Open Edit at Nordstrom. It’s a staple in my wardrobe that stays in rotation.

Hey, Carolyn, i thought I was the only grown woman who'd love to have Artistic shoes in her wardrobe!! Like, regular heels have their place, (by the way, i hate the current kitten/low hees) but basically, those art-inspired ones qould be my go-to shoes: some in loafers; others in sandals etc. the only shoes I've never liked are the converse, them plimsolls just turn me off.😊
