That's where I just caught it. These cats are classic. Real hip hop is hip hop. That fake hop is cap rock. Got more sole on the bottom of my tube socks, with a 2 piece hair cut, Long in the back, party up front, rock a flat top you know it won't stop brand Nubian rock the sure shot.

New York Undercover brought me here. But Brand Nubian is a group that don't get enough credit. Lord Jamar and Sadat X both held their own while Puba went solo but I'm glad they all came back together eventually and not when it was too late💯 salute to the legends of Hip Hop💯

@Kenneth The Golden Child I thought it was, too, but it grew on me. A lot of people thought Brand Nubian was biting the West Coast sound on Everything Is Everything... because it was poppin' in the early '90s... even Big and Puff bit it.

Sadat X Has his own flow. He ends his bars whenever tf he feels. He'll let a full 1 to 2 bars pass by before the hook comes in. In other words,,,, He'll end his flow on an ODD bar count. Lol

If the world was fair and just and artistic talent fairly evaluated than brand nubian and poor righteous teachers are superstars. When you are unwilling to bend over for the industry and your label, unwilling.to dumb down your lyrics and water down beats, unwilling to pander to MTV, i guess you can only achieve so much recognition and fame but at least you keep your soul
