This is a great kick in the butt by Tom Peters. I am sure there has never been a time when we've had as many distractions in our daily working hours as we have to contend with now. Keeping priorities straight, and front and centre, is vital. Perhaps the hardest thing now is evaluating those priorities.
THE CHECKBOOK NEVER LIES EITHER! Reminds me of a story I recently read: "The simple fact is, time and money are limited resources that can materially affect the quality of our lives, so how we spend them reveals what's really important to us. If you knew that your character would be judged by the choices reflected in your calendar and checkbook, would you spend either your time or money differently?" How much would you charge me to review my calendar with my once a month? ☺ TERRIFIC TOM!
