Another problem is more recent: I do not know how much to photoshop. They say "do not photzoshop me, leave me original" but they expect images will be miracolously as they were 20 years younger. Than they are angry and show me their smart phone how even smart phone does better job. Another case when they do agree to make them frontline worthy and I do incredible job to make them pretty with hand brushed D&B and retouch so they do retain pristine natural look ... but then they say they are old and ugly, and again show me so $5 app on phone that makes them look like potato and call that better and expected. I reall do not know with those woman any more :) And retouching takes time. I can shoot all day for bag of rice, but retouch is hours uppon hours ... especially if they want "all" images todecis uppon them. Show them "unretouched" for the sake of culling?? I become the worst photographer that made them old and ugly. They pick nothing from me. They don't understand I guess, the process. Shuld I use PortraitPro for initiall cull? It look un natural and it is not quick at all either. I tried with monochrome, over expeosed settings with some strong grain added, so images hyde most problems (skin color and lightness variation and small imperfections that way). A bit better. It happened I actually sold all images just like they were. No editiang at all. One time opportunity. But mostly they expect perfect images when they saw them. But at the same time to be able to pick the best one from series ... how you deal with that? Giving them 50 totally edited images I guess not. I did that in the past, too. They were angry whyt took me so long. Others gave images next day ... etc.
