First they don't need to trade him because they can hate it for the next 2 years without giving him a contract extension, secondly, because they don't need to trade him they would need huge value in return to trade him
@@Jasoncj099 To keep him beyond this coming season they have to tag him. Do you know what the tag amount is? The avg of the top 5 receivers in the league. That's over 30 mil/year which is what they don't want to pay him. They have him for 14.1 for 1 season. He's young so finding another team in 2 years will be no problem at all. And after 2 years they lose him for nothing. It LITERALLY makes sense to pay him or trade him.

i understand that brandon isn’t a mid level receiver, but are we not glossing over the fact he plays on a stacked offense? his stats are great but how often have we seen receivers become #1s only to not meet expectations
To me its simple. After next season deebo will also be up for a new deal and at this point Ayiuk is younger, healthier, and more productive so i would keep him and move off deebo.
Hearing Riddick talk about Rodgers as an “independent thinker”, and knowing that is viewed as a bad thing by seemingly the majority of people is really sad. We need more independent thinkers in this world. It doesn’t mean that you have to agree with him. But it is so important for all of us to grow and learn and move forward together. Teach your kids to question everything. Teach them to think for themselves. They may not always be right, but it is far better than everyone following the same ideas they heard from someone else.

@@Tony525_ that remains to be seen. Likely between $55 and $60 million on average. Makes no difference. lol they will sign Aiyuk to his deal, and actually save money against the cap this season once they do. On top of the $31+ million they have in space as of right now, which will roll over to next season barring any last minute free agent signings. They will trade or release Deebo next offseason as a Post June 1st transaction and save another $17 million more in space after that. That combined with the cap going up again and other moves they'll make... lol again he's not going anywhere.

But there’s one thing Aiyuk needs to be careful about. Would he be the 49er Brandon Aiyuk on another team? Randy Moss thought the same thing when he was traded to the Raiders from Minnesota.
To be fair those Raider teams were dumpster fires. His first year he had a 1k season his second season was terrible. Randy went off once he got on a decent team again.

Idk i think the roster is good regardless and we have other young receivers. What we really need is picks and cap space so if you get an opportunity to add that while still being a legit contender you have to take it.
Am I the only one who thinks that he’s kinda overrated? Not saying he’s not good, but how good would he look if he wasn’t on an Onthat had weapons everywhere you look? A defense is looking at RB, TE, and maybe even another WR (sometimes) before him? How would he look if he was the legit 1 ???
Math dont work...all you are forgetting that they dont pay a QB...They not going to have anyone to throw them the ball if they sign him. 49ers will trade before they pay him....They trying their hardest to have him play on his current contract then let him walk...not complicated
Where you are wrong is that SF can still Franchise tag Aiyuk in 2025, so basically they have him for 2 seasons. Unless they receive a huge offer for a trade, they have no reason to pay him now or trade him
