Brandon Flowers (The Killers) Playing with Fire new song First Official Solo Tour Show @ the Troubadour 8/17/10 High Quality Video from the Upcoming Album Flamingo
He is a true artist of our generation. his talent shoud be rewarded. Again brilliant songwriter and vocalist! " Ten thousand Demons hammer down with every footstep, Ten thousand Angels rush the wind against my back. The church of mine may not be recognised by steeple, That doesn't mean that I will walk without a God"
I was that close too when he came to New York for his Flamingo tour! I about died. DIED. The best night of my life. I need The Killers to come to NJ again!!!
"River of truth can you spare me a sip, the only founding of you has been reduced to a drip" . This song is awesome, cannot wait to hear the recorded version.
@nationocean I understand why he wouldn't sing any Killers' music, I mean, he's not the Killers alone, you know? I don't see The Killers without one of them, so... It's ok if he doesn't sing any Killers music... Love you Brandon!! Love my Killers boys... :)
@ChinaCity I used a Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ35 12.1 megapixel. The lens isn't detachable, so most venues allow it inside. The zoom is really great quality for a $300 camera.
@TheJacques72 I am not sure, the Troubadour was very under sold because a lot of 'industry' people were there. We arrived about 15 minutes before the doors opened. Other locations might not be as easy as it was there.
@joe80dmanizanerd There is a lot we can learn about religious concepts, morals, ethics, etc. It doesn't matter whether you are religious or not, they have good meanings and that's what matters.
@joe80dmanizanerd Well there is no reason not to have an educated argument, since you didn't attack me it is only logical to continue the discussion. Let me elaborate on what I meant. Jewish and Christian text can indirectly teach you things that could be considered ethical and moral. Such as not killing another human being for instance, but I was referring to more indirect learning. You have the Exodus, for example which, in its own way, taught us about perseverance.
@oyster0 morals and ethics dont come from religion. And certainly not from mormonism. I agree that the intentions are good though. Anyways, lets stop here :p.
The song is beautiful, but I really wish brandon wouldn't involve religion as much in his songs. I dont give one single bit about his personal life or his religion - I just want him to make good music, which he does.
Starting to like FDR in 1945, with the black hooded sacks under the eyes and loss of weight on the face. Flowers is finally dealing with his crack pot Mormon background and what he has learned in the real world.
