I'm an alcoholic. I'm 44 years old. I started drinking alcoholicly at the age of 22 (I'm guesstimating here but I know it was early 20s because I could legally buy booze with my ID) and now half of my life has been spent suffering. No one cares about me. It's scary but I won't stop trying. Let's help each other. I need help every day and I know a lot of you out there do you.

Hey Brandon.. I'm in Glasgow Scotland and would just like to say that you're a great role model for recovery.. People who do as fantastic as you to stay sober are stronger than people will know and helping others shows what a kind heart you have... You're looking great and really healthy & happy and when you were using your eyes looked empty and defeated... You really are radiant and putting out positive vibes.. You're so passionate about your recovery and helping others.. It gives those struggling with addiction Hope that there is a way out and forward.. All the best Sir and well done you should be proud of yourself. x❤️💙🙏. Ps I don't remember Brandon from Jackass back in the day I mustve been 19-20yrs old and only remembered Steve O. When Jackass forever Just came out over here in summer I only recognised wee man and Steve O.. Even my brother was shocked I'd never heard of Novack and Bam & Ryan or even Johnny Knoxville🤷‍♀️.. But yeah you're looking good Brandon. Happy and HEALTHY. I love how you're now so passionate about helping others with the tools you gained from your recovery and treatment.. Amazing success story that does give others hope.. Like any other habit of you've been doing it for years it becomes your life and don't know anything else so getting a detox is the easy part.. The hard work beings when people enter their real lives again.. Alot of changes need to be made including cutting out all the other users you may look on as friends but they're not real friends.. Real friends want the best for one another whereas other addicts what you to fail in sobriety because they can't do it. Lots of love Brandon.. You are a lovely young man and are intelligent, articulate and have a heart of gold trying to help others.. x

I read his book in Delaware County Prison AKA George W Hill Correctional Facility we were on the same unit not the same block and his book was going around the unit. It's a great book change my outlook on life!

Hey guys, you did an episode with Earl Strickland and I couldn’t help but notice Earl didn’t mention how he came to Pasadena Tx every weekend and played and old man named Napo that would beat Earl like clock work. I’ve watched these interviews with Earl and all he talks about is all his victims. Being Earl was just getting out and never talks about how this man beat him every Friday night. As a kid it was fun watching.

In my opinion I think most former addicts by nice stuff when they get clean is because either a they didn't have it before an especially during when they're an addict
