Of all the Volvo's you will come across on the road, this one is sure to catch your attention. From the intercooler peeking out of the front bumper to the graphite CCW SP16's, upgraded brakes, IPD exhaust and a few other goodies. Brandon's Volvo is definitely one of my favorite cars I have shot this year for it's unique platform.

I’ve owned a p2 XC70 for 3yrs now and…. I didn’t know what the appeal was until I drove it from Georgia(where I bought it), home to chicago…let’s just say… “I smiled like a kid with a new BMX bike in the ‘80’s”. Been solidly converted ever since 🤩

I’d take this over an e46 any day tbh, the e46 chassis is known to literally crack and break lmao BMW paid out millions to avoid lawsuits etc. just look up bmw chassis subframe fault 🤢

This Volvo was the competitor for my beloved 05 Acura TL back in the day, they competed in luxury and performance, both great cars. I went for the Acura TL because of the modifying possibilities which are pretty limited for a S60 Volvo but the owner of this S60 really nailed it, the damn thing looks like a top of the line German sedan.

The Acura TL competed with the S60.. This is an S60R which is an entirely different car, the only thing the two have in common is the body and interior. A more direct comparison would be the Acura TL type S but even that wouldn't be able to touch the S60R. Skyhook suspension, Brembo 4 piston calipers front and rear, and a 300hp/300tq rating. Unless you're slapping a big brake kit and a supercharger on your TL you're gonna get smoked. And the interior comparison is simple, Volvo spent over 16 years developing the seat that was placed in these cars as well as aluminum and leather trim throughout you'd be hard pressed to find anything plastic other than the radio and climate control buttons as well as outstanding longevity and limitless options. The only thing the TL would have going for it over the Volvo is maintenance costs would be significantly cheaper.
