I thought it was kinda dumb if he was just saying he mispronounced it. But the fact that he was trying to say a totally different city was a valid reason to throw the flag. And big shoutout to KB for doing so
Jeff has done something really special with this show. He has a lot to be proud of, and Dave should be really grateful. The way this show puts the players’ personalities on raw display, combined with the viewers’ ability to play along at home, makes The Dozen one of the most captivating shows on any form of media right now. *I’m not being paid to write that, I swear…
KB pretending like he was struggling with questions and even finding two college names that were the same and self flagging himself just to keep the match close. Man of honor.
49:35 man of honor, and I only know those cities because we had to learn them in Texas History class in 9th grade and it was bitch for everyone to not confuse them. They are also relatively close to each other. And Clint Dempsey is from Nacogdoches
i wish thats how they set this up. maybe give them all extra niches, because regular dozen is sports heavy and thats where guys like kb dont really shine. so jeff could have 6 regular dozen rounds, bonus rounds as it is now (which is always general knowledge and shit anyone can guess), and 6 niches each to even it out (or 8 regular, 4 niche, idk the ratio doesnt matter, just more niches). 2 doubles (one regular, one niche), double sip, and phone a friend. would truly be electric.
You should allow each person 1 steal, but they have to declare it before the question is asked based only on the category. If the opponent gets their question right then the steal is wasted. Would make picking your niche categories more interesting, imagine someone stealing a KB niche question?
For KB to call flag on his self for getting question right but actually wrong shows great integrity from him. Wonder if he went to Wheeling Park high school or not they usually have a good football team
That Laguna Beach question was stupid easy. I’ve never watched a second of that show and got the answer cause what else would she not do to her car to make it shut down?
Eddie should have picked more food and sports. He’s really good at those on the regular dozen. I think he thought he knew some of those movies etc better than he actually does.
His questions were easier. All College BBall, and the ones that's not, "he car broke down because she didn't do what?", French Indy driver, the school he played at?
players shouldn't be able to use a dozen category again if they already use it in their niche category (AKA celebrity mashup, college foobtall/basketball)
Titus needs to double the Country Music category. My deaf cat knew both of the songs Jeff has giftwrapped for him so far. Also, the number of times Jeff has asked Titus a question from when he was in college playing against these guys is maddening.
14:58 I've never seen this show yet this is such a simple question anyone who knows anything about cars knows that if a vehicle breaks down on the side of the road and it is the divers fault ("because she didn't do what?") the most obvious answer in the world is that person did not change the oil...
Brennan has a point, Titus picked basketball for every one of his categories. By that logic, Brannon should been able to pick Cosby show season one season two season three season, four etc..
I don’t know it’s dumber Jeff making a Titus individual question hard or Titus not knowing the answer to that question. Maybe the answer is they’re both dumb.
More NHL questions for us Canadian fans. We don't give a hoot aboot college sports. Also I am all for niche categories but 9/12 questions being about basketball is ridiculous.
