The action from the 2023 Indy 'SafetyKa' 500 race weekend at Brands Hatch courtesy of the MSVR. All jokes aside, the weather this weekend was biblical so to all the drivers a massive well done for even getting out on the track; the fact we had to have safety cars for the weather conditions alone goes to show just how slippery it was!
The Saturday saw the conclusion of the Miata Trophy, United Formula Ford and both the Trackday Championship/Trophy, all of which were fantastic in their own way and provided us with some high class racing. Then the Sunday saw the final for the EnduroKas; an 8 hour 20 minute race (which to be honest felt more like an 8 minute race) of non-stop action and just purely fantastic entertainment. Every year I look forward to this meeting, there's something about a bunch of low powered, FWD cars driving round and round in circles for hours that really excites me, and this year was no different.
Would also be rude not to say thank you to all the marshalls and medical crews that had to put up with the elements, and more stoppages than you can shake a stick at...
