Awesome. I read a thing by Mick Grant years ago saying to tip in to paddock when you were at the ambulance escape road on the left, pretty much what you do too.

Yes, afraid so. It was embarrassing, going to the police station, none of us knew the registrations of the bikes, as they were all loaners. Imagine the policeman's face when he said, 'who owns the bike?' and we said 'Kawasaki' and he said, 'no, not the make, who owns it?' 'Kawasaki'... It all went downhill from there. Ron and Gus were so devastated and depressed, I couldn't face going all the way home with them in the van moaning all the way, so jumped on a plane and left them to it.
