The cadence, clarity and note execution had me shook, when Monica delivered these lines. 1. How could you still be so disillusioned after all of this time? Ugh! Yes! I caught that! Monica on the second verse is so satisfying with her usual heavy vocal that is also noticeably subdued like ✨ swoon ✨ the runs, the harmonies, the bridge, the interpolation of the original Brandy and Monica the boy is mine at the end! Another favorite part of the song for me is the "the boy is mine" going to the chorus, the way it slows down and the beat drops out, it's just so satisfying... I know that's also apart of the original but I just thought it need to be mentioned... This song is just so good to me lol! Great video as always O'Neil!

I never knew brandy and Monica as such exceptional vocalists... I feel bad for sleeping on these legends... I started listening to their discography after this remix and they are all fabulous. Ariana is the best mainstream pop girl that is carrying vocals these days, no one is doing like her. She is bringing back 90s music.

OMG!!! Yess!! The song is amazing! The vocals!!! The bridge is unreal! I haven’t heard a bridge that stellar since Beyonce’s Virgo groove! Ariana holding down those soprano notes, Brandy's runs/background vocals and MONICA's ad libs are unmatched!!! P.s l've always loved the clarity in Monica's voice! She has amazing pronunciation while still maintaining that soulfulness to her voice! Ariana is coming thru with all of the greats!! Ariana is here to stay!! Well done!! 🐐🙌🏽👑

Someone on the official remix page commented that the bridge is using the 90s Boy is Mine beat. I also noticed that after the bridge, Brandy is singing The Boy is Mine in the orginal 90s melody, as well.
