also if someone were to say such details don’t act on it and say you’ll be speaking to police, try to be calm. you don’t want to upset the attacker because who knows what they could do to you now knowing you could go to police with this information. do it quietly and be secretive. pretend to go along with it as if it is their “fantasy” then proceed with caution and alert officials

actual trash I believe she came out of the woods about an hour from her house. She was being kept by a man and managed to escape and get help.

North of where she was originally lost, she came out of a house wearing shoes that were too big for her. She told a dog walker.

@@mischa129 I thought it was a social worker walking her dog. I'm probably confused but I remember thinking that it was absolutely amazing that she ran into a social worker. Maybe the person's house that they went to in order to call the authorities was the social worker. I have a deficit in my memory because stroke damage so like I said I'm probably confused. Regardless, I feel like she was meant to have a social worker fall into her story because she can be of help to her and her aunt's family.

I have finally found peace thank you it took a long time to forgive myself but I can't live there anymore I'm a very different person today this fight requires me to be strong it took REAL work to get here but I'm good now so heartbroken for what happened to Brandy but I'm good now

Yes, hold on to your little one! I don't have a child, but I know when I do I'm not going to give anybody a chance to kidnap them. I remember my mom and my father being very protective over me when it came to going outside or going to the park, and I'm very thankful they did that. When I was a little older it got kind of annoying but at least I was safe. They only let me go to the park when I was with a few other people, I couldn't wander off on my own. I was a little sheltered but enough to not be social and have friends. My mom's always said to cherish them and keep them safe however you can! :)

@@themysteriousone33 I grew up in a tiny town, and all the kids were allowed to go places alone, including me. I was outside all day long, no supervision whatsoever. I almost god kidnapped when I was 7. I was walking to school with my best friend and a car was driving past us really slowly, and as the doors opened we jumped over the fence of the nearest house and we started knocking and ringing the bell like crazy. Thankfully, the car drove away and an older lady opened the door.

As someone studying law, I disagree. It isn’t broken- it’s flawed. It guarantees each individual their rights under the Constitution. It promotes individual liberty. I agree it failed this family and that the court was wrong for rejecting the case, but there will never be a case where there will be 100% satisfaction. It’s just the luck of the draw, and unfortunately, this family pulled the short straw. Hopefully the public pressure will help their case, but to say the entire legal system is broken is not really true.

@@heyitssarah7545 I study law in England too. The differences between the two systems is astonishing. The English system is far from perfect but something like this rarely happens over here. Hopefully the family gets the justice they deserve!

I have almost the exact same story. My dad and I got into a fight right before he committed suicide. It’s hard to live with. My heart is with you ❤️

I didn’t talk to my dad for 15 years before he died, lots of guilt but none of the ‘adults’ in my life were actually functional adults. Maybe if I’d been born a saint I could have repaired our relationship, but I was a normal teenager. His spirit came back a couple times to bring me peace after he was gone. He brought me a feeling of endless love (didn’t come from me, I was mad at the time 😂) that lasted for a few minutes but I’ll never forget it. That’s what heaven must be like. I believe your dads and sister still love you wherever they are and people find peace after this life.

@Bmx Boy Eleanor Neale! I love her actually. She is very kind and sensitive to the victims, and her viewers. I agree though, that Kendall truely is professional. Not that Eleanore isn't though, they are just different in the way they present their cases. They are fighting on the same side for victims and families. Also, if anyone reads this and is interested, Eleanore does many, many cases outside the US (mostly ones from Europe, but also all over the world) that's my favorite part about watching her is that there are so many HUGE cases she covers that I've never really heard of living in America. I love them both, Bella Fiori is great too, she covers alot of Australian cases.

I’m 27 and was born & raised in phx. I was 1 in 92 when brandy went missing. I remember hearing about the canal killer..when Kendall showed an image of the map..showing where a head was found by the highway near metro center..😳 passed by millions of times & to now have that info. Devastating!

A friend I grew up with was one of his victims. She testified against him & a few other girls..she got away with scrapes & bruises but he attempted to rape her.

Cassidy Dorinda Honestly though, when you smell something bad, a dead murdered body isn’t exactly the first thing you think of. So many things can cause bad smells, and if it went away soon after they took notice of it (the murderer said that he got rid of the body right away when neighbors were complaining of an odor), then it’s easy to understand why it wouldn’t be reported. I mean, if I was smelling a bad odor outside my home, my only concern would probably only be about a gas leak, definitely not a dead body, and that’s only due to today’s knowledge about harmful gas leaks, so 27 years ago I probably wouldn’t even be thinking about that and would have brushed it off as long as it didn’t stick around for too long. I’d probably even think about it being a dead animal before I would think of a dead body, and that’s not exactly something people commonly make a report about. I can see how the neighbors might not have done anything about it.
