Music has devolved from the late 2000 and 90's era Brandy, Monica, Teddy Riley, Queen Latifah, Monie Love, YoYo, Kool Moe-Dee, SWV, etc! The majority of music today is violent, vulgar and sexual in nature, nothing is about fun, love, or just living life. I grew up listening to Kool & Gang, EW &F and my college years were flooded with Luther Vandross and Freddie Jackson, Boys to Men etc. Today there is no CLASSY music, zero zilch.

Seven year olds are idolizing Ariana Grande (no shade to her) but a lot of her stuff is so sexual, who is there that has this kind of everyday girl, havin fun, livin life, not overdone super polished looks. One of the best collaboration from the 90s. Most people don't talk enough about this joint. Brandy's vocals alongside mase's verse and flow is a perfect combination. I wonder if Brandy wrote this, because I am sure during this time it resonated with her. This is when she still had her perfect and girl next door image. Brandy truly was the it girl during the last half of the 90s and definitely paved the way for the girls that came after her. Also, love that Mase did the choreography with Brandy and the rest of the dancers.
