Bought one 2 years ago. 540 hours on it now. The loader is strong, but the back end is light. With fluid filled rear tires, rotary cutter on and 320 lb of cement on the back of the rotary cutter, the loader can still pick the rear wheels of the tractor off the ground before you get close to the 2000 lb rated lift capacity. Most I have lifted feeing it was firmly on the ground was 1200 lb of 10 ft long 2 7/8 drill stem pipe (fence post material) Most of the hours were put on digging a 120 ft diameter, roughly round pond to appx 12 ft deep. I did add teeth to the bucket.
Loader operating lever... blue locktite the stick into the cast metal piece. Or the thing will never stay tight and you'll wobble out the threads. I relpaced my cast piece with one machined from steel at appx 150 hr. Local shop made the piece for $20. It can also bend the 3 point lift arms pushing back with the box blade... so be careful. I did get them straight with a 3 ton hydraulic jack. (had to take them off the tractor) If doing quick hitch, do not get the Pat's or the similar ones. Get one with a frame.
I'm going next week to look at a 2100 or 2500 Branson. Very heavy built. Manual shift. Hydrostat is okay but I'm used to manual gears and manual PTO. The 2515 will serve you well. Good review, enjoy your new tractor.
I just bought a used tym 2515,doing great so far,light in the butt for lifting heavy,high range is absolutely useless,but overall im happy so far for what i needed
Nothing like a New ,bigger ,better Tractor to make ALL the lifting,lugging,hoisting,heiveing,carrying, cruzing chores EASYER. Just wondering if you "Had" to get another "Hydro-howl-o-slack-o-matic" drive system; when a 12×12 gear drive shuttle shift transmission was available in this model? Because 25hp gear drive = 32-33hp hydrostatic of pushing-pulling-plowing POWER,( NOT to mention ALL that NOISE from hydrostatic drive). Thank you Sir for the Excelent vidio and happy safe tractoring.
