Mark, you're missing a massive part of the story. Zirkzee reportedly preferred to stay in Serie A, Milan were the only ones ready to pay the €40m release, they reportedly also agreed personal terms with Zirkzee. His agent Kia Joorabchian then threw a massive curve ball, demanding a €15m commission. Milan were willing to pay €8m, they stayed firm on €15m. The highest commission Milan has ever paid has been for Paqueta, €2.9m to his agent. Because of this commission the deal stalled. In order to convince Zirkzee to to sign, one of the sides (it is unclear who, agent or club) came up with a possibility of signing Jordan whose contract expires at Leverkusen this summer. It is the agent's commission that has impacted this deal or he would've been a Milan player in July. Being a lifelong Ibrahimovic fan, he was reportedly swayed by the call Ibra made as a Milan director.

I didn't want Inios but the more i listen to Sir Jim the more respect i have for him because he talks a lot of sense in regards to issues at United and what must be done and achieved I was very impressed by his interview in regards to Erik ten Hag the Stadium and Uniteds historical mistakes under the Glazers stopping short of names i just get the feeling that this man given time Will make Manchester united a force again my hope is eventually he rids us all from the dreaded Glazer ownership in full🔰🔰🔰🔰🔰

Zirkzee Height: 1,93 m/.6.332 His brother is still growing, he is 18 and now 174. Zirkzee has decent pace, why not go for them both. His littlebrother can play U-league.

MUFC will have to pay premium or they will not get the players. To my knowledge MUFC needs to sell players first in order to be able to spend. Since ETH stays and MUFC is therefore a project (his words not mine) new expensive players are not that important. Getting rid of the dead wood is priority 1.
