Another screwdriver saved! If you find a nesting screwdriver that is too far gone, maybe make a set of nesting pokey things. Thanks for a great video!

Brass is a very cool metal. Bringing a worn or damaged blade back to useful life is the diciest part of screwdriver restoration. Part of that job is deciding when you can't go further. You did a great job. The bluing really adds a nice touch of contrast. Another great job, and a little less patina in the world.

Great job on the restoration! I recently acquired a Philips head set that looks like this one. No makers marks, but the cap, tapering and ring before the knurling are exactly the same. The only thing is that the two smallest drivers are flatheads like yours. I have been looking around for some little Philips thinking that this set had been mixed, but I can't seem to find any. Even the new ones have alternating heads, so I feel like I will never be able to make this one a full Philips set. Maybe they just didn't make them that small back then. In the video you said you always keep an eye out for these, so I was wondering if you (or anyone) have come across any smaller Philips heads or if I should just put my search to an end.

Had another box stolen in 1985 when I was Soundman for touring/gigging bands, same deal, things belonged to my grandfather. He stole a 3oz. ball peen hammer with a rosewood handle my grandfather used in the Navy in WWII. He did this kind if stuff we see on yt today. Everything he had was tip-top. I know it was the doorman/ bouncer did it. He was overtly jealous of other ppls. talent telling me often how to use MY equipment. He used to change the settings on our gear, one time wiping out the entire mix on the Front of house board. I did several "alterations" to his vehicle when passing through the area on way to different gig.😆 Ppl. that knew his sorry ass told him basically, well, what comes around goes around. ✌️❤️
